    Tonight's drinking:

And just a few pics from the past week or so for whoever's interested.

    The Galaxy Equinox was delicious.

Pretending I don't have any kind of a budget in realale.com in Twickenham.

Only Young's Bitter but after a stint at work on a rare sunny day by Kew Green. Perfect.

Common Grounds and This Means Nothing to Me looking sexy in the glasses. The Sleeping Lemons was good too but I couldn't really get into the Cross-Pollination.

Two of Beavertown's prototype beers. Both with essentially the same recipe, just with the final hop changed. I preferred Enigmaticus which seemed to have more oomph but apparently Hasta was more popular in votes, maybe because it seemed to bring out the English ale yeast more, with less crispness and more soft, slightly soapy fruit.

This one really lives up to the Cloudwater hype really. So, so good.

    Pracownia Piwa 400
    Stone Ruination v 2.0

Nice to compare 2 Double IPA's from different countries. Both great but the US just trumps the Polish but not by much.

Been a while since I posted and have had some awesome beers over the past few weeks.

Care package from a mate in Boston brought me Trillium Congress Street IPA and Double Dry Hopped Sleeper Street. Both fantastic.

    Outside of that, notable mentions:
    Indra Kunindra - Ballast Point
Bacchus Frambozenbier - Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck
    Friek - Odell Brewing Co.
iStout - 8 Wired Brewing Co.
    Blå Spøgelse - Mikkeller
Geuze Mariage Parfait 2011 - Brouwerij Boon
Stout Rullquin (2015) - Gueuzerie Tilquin
Judgment Day - The Lost Abbey
Blackcap Raspberry - Cascade Brewing Company
Das Wunderkind! (Blend 18) - Jester King Brewery

I ruined some chilli last night with Weird Beard Decadence Stout which was a waste of a lovely beer. That was followed by a Schneider-Weisse Tap 4 Mein Grunes. Lovely and deep hefeweizen, though boy are S/W beers expensive.

Now sitting in the pub opposite Hampton Court Palace with a very cheaply made Brunning and Price house bitter. Still decent enough though.

Anybody else manage to get hold of some human and un-human cannonball this morning?

Ooh. Found a mild in that same pub. Bit watery but alright. Pain in the wallet at £4.10 for a pint.

I've been enjoying my recent American resupply. New Glarus Spotted Cow, delicious farmhouse ale. Lake Louie Warped Speed Scotch Ale, gets you intoxicated at warp speed. Very smooth and excellent scotch ale, which I believe I can now say after sampling some of Scotland's finest. Now I'm enjoying one of my favourites, O'so Night Rain, a very robust and complex porter from a small Wisconsin brewery.

Next time I have 2 days in a row off is the end of April but still going strong:
Neck Oil (yum in the sun)
Kernel IPA Citra Nelson Sauvin Galaxy (best Kernel IPA yet, similar to the Cloudwater IPA Citra, so good and "dank")
    Andwell Pilsner Hop
    Augustiner Edelstoff Helles

had all the Cannonballs last Wednesday at the Brewery, still prefer Cannonball over human or unhuman.

Had Human Cannonball on tap at Craft Beer Co. this afternoon and really enjoyed it, great DIPA. Didn't have Unhuman though, but it looked to be flying off the shelf and tap.

Also picked up a ton of Cloudwater last weekend and have been working through that. The Citra IPA is fantastic. Also really enjoyed the Session E431. Have some bottles of DIPA v3 that I haven't cracked yet but looking forward to that.

I know right? That Citra IPA blew me away, which is why I decided to bite the bullet and splash out a tenner for 2 bottles of the DIPA (as well as a can of Cannonball and another Kernel IPA (Citra Nelson Sauvin Galaxy), good thing they do loyalty cards)

Had while watching the football tonight...

To Ol - Gose To Hollywood, strange mix of sour and salty...liked it,
    Brewdog - Arcade Nation IPA,
Brewdog - Jet Black Heart Milk Stout,
Lomaland - Modern Times, Wit with a hint of Tripel.

Picked these up from Brewdog Stirling when picking Mrs. & daughter K up from a day out, pretty reasonable take away prices.

Cannonball is one of my favourite year round ipa's. Had the others on draft before but pleased to have gotten a bottle of unhuman this year.

Popped in to the pub as it was nice and sunny for a pint of Adnams Broadside and a pack of pork scratchings. Very intense with lots of fruit and spice. Pretty good, much better than bottled.

Hoppy northerness with a fresh can of Magic Rock Cannonball and a bottle of Cloudwater DIPA v3. Both amazing. The Cannonball seemed hoppier but the DIPA v3 was sublime, with the 9% hidden so well behind a really chilled out hopgasm. Both excellent beers.

About to calm things down with a Weird Beard Pankot Palace chai masala milk stout.

I bought a can of cannonball earlier today mainly due to it being mentioned in this thread  Had it a good few times before on tap but not in can yet. Also a bottle of Fyne This Gose . Not drank either yet, maybe tomorrow, I had a bottle of homebrewed oatmalt stout with a curry tonight and a very good pairing it was too

Same! Haha. They didn't have the upper echelons of the balls, but I was kind of glad as the Cannonball is not a bad price.
Also, stout and curry (some sort of thumbs up type emoticon)

Actually this Masala Chai Milk Stout could be an Indian dessert. It smells like christmas and tastes like that really sweet, spiced indian tea you can get.
