God this place is absurd. After stopping by FFF a couple weeks ago for the first time I just don't see the hype in this place. Good beers, yes, but the way they communicate and deal with customers is pitiful.

Go ahead and cue the "more beer for us response".

Interested to hear your experience, though I've never been. What happened?

I am not sure I understand people's complaints and anger regarding these releases. So what, its an expensive beer, they aren't taking anything away from you or raising the prices of the beer you normally buy. I want an Aston Martin but I sure as he'll can't afford one, I am not cursing them due to the price of their cars. The is a market for super premium (priced) beer nowadays, may as well get use to it now. Just remember you don't need every beer or need to be able to afford every beer and no one is taking anything away from you.

This might be the first one of these special releases I would really want to jump on. I'm still dying to try bourbon moloko too. I drink the hell out of moloko every year. (Love the name, too.) Well, if anyone wants to trade and doesn't want half of my cellar, let me know.

I'm not here to hi-jack the thread, but my experience was typical from what I usually hear. The beers are good; everything I had, I enjoyed, but the service is half assed. Our beers sat empty for five minutes (this was on a Friday around noon, so it wasn't busy), the waitress spent some time talking to other co-workers, and didn't seem interested in providing information about the menu options. For some reason though, people just brush this off and accept it.

Communication and FFF are like oil and water; they don't mix. Look through the threads about Battle Priest (regarding how many bottles are left) or just wait until the DLD hype comes around next spring. Confusion abounds.

How would that differentiate her from any of the other waitresses? Ha, kidding. No, we had a short girl, not much over 5', medium black hair, pretty tiny overall. One thing I will give her credit for is hooking us up with some FFF coasters. That was nice of her.

I cannot justify purchasing any more of these "special releases" knowing they will likely be flowing in the pub all winter long. This is unless of course they decide to bottle BA Ice Grille.

$35...football season...case of Zombie Dust please!

So what am I missing here?...Does it cost them twice as much to barrel age something than any other craft brewery in the US? Does IN have an insane second use barrel tax or something?

A Cognac aged milk stout? What am I missing here? Lactose ages disgustingly and seems like it would clash mightily with cognac - how does this work? (Price aside...)
