I was wondering why they stopped selling the $8 moloko today.. I love three floyds.. I stop there often for a case of zd or gh but 35 for one bottle of beer - unless I was gonna use it for trade bait (for say 3 six.packs of shorts peaches n cream) -- I must take a pass.

I saw what you were doing, my responses were directed elsewhere.

Good job on winning the post race!

This is so fucked up !!! $35 ?? Get bent !!! I pass! Remember there are a bunch of local breweries in Chicago that are priced right and taste amazing . Cheers!

They aged Moloko for a few of their beers such as Ronaldo, Conquistador, BA Moloko. I thought all aged just fine.

On a seperate note, FFF is like the Yankees or Notre Dame of craft beer. Everyone loves 'em or hates 'me but either way they are talking about them.

I swear, beer geeks are really good at: bitching & complaining...that's about it. Anyway, cognac barrels + any beer usually works out really well so I'm excited to see how this one is. Please stay away so I can get one tomorrow at lunch.

For $35 I can get a sixer of founders Porter, a four pack of breakfast stout and a three floyds moloko minus the Cognac aging.. 11 beers and 11 times more enjoyment.. that's my plan after I finish these delicious Boz hotdogs for dinner.

$35?? Meh. Try our pricing in Australia. Clout Stout for $75 and not even in a barrel. Holgate Beezelbub jewels for $70, Murrays Anniversary Ale for $45-$55, and my favorite is Moo Brew Vintage Stout. Oak aged stout for $25. In 330 ML bottles. BA Mokolo is cheap

I think what you meant to say, was "Can we still have any Fun?"

    Gamehenge/first-set-encores/off-the-wall-stage-banter......

I guess what I really mean to say is "Ditto"

Any current update on the line? I'll be heading over later but won't get to the brewpub until about 10. Anyone know if they'll have any left of the zes zes zes to go too?

I really don't understand the logic behind releasing a super premium beer EVERY god damned Tuesday....but I am all aboard the "you don't have to buy it, quit your bitching" train.

I assume the logic is that the beer is ready to be bottled and sold. Tuesdays though? I guess so real locals get the best chance at bottles. I must admit I would have bought more of these if I lived a little closer. Weekly trips to FFF sucks

At least when they do this on a regular basis, case limits make a lot more sense.

I meant more about the quantity of releases in a short time frame. After a few special releases at $35 I think a lot of people will be burnt out, especially considering the subpar reviews they've been receiving.

I don't like Three Floyds, so I'm going to pretend that if their beers weren't so expensive I'd buy them but now I'm angry and stuff arrrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!!

There's something to be said for a brewery who makes a better barrel aged stout than Rare...

This just in, beers that are expensive to make are going to be expensive to buy! Cost has nothing to do with taste.
