FFF brews are solid, and there is a market for super premium beers. I think people bitch when they think they a beer is insanely overpriced, not just highly priced. 10 KBS or a BA DL? A barrel aged milk stout or Black Tuesday? I don't get it. A case of ZD is that price, which is great, so it's not all their stuff. I would feel ripped off buying most of their special release stuff, but that's just me.

While I never had BA DL, I know I'd rather have 10 KBS, etc.

I've seen way too much unsolicited **** on Pasta's phone while waiting in beer lines than I care to hazily remember. His hetero street cred is beyond reproach.

I only ask because that's the response I got from Frank the last time I referred to Pasta as his hetero-lifemate, lol.

All you have to do is get a local that doesn't mind going to Chicago on the weekends. And offer him some above average off the shelf stuff that he can't get in indianer. Works for me. By the way i'm a sucker for parabola. Lol

As much as I'd like to try it and I'm a 3f fanboy I'll have too pass. The interesting thing is for all the metal and FU exterior of the venue and brewers, deep down it appears they're all nerdy supply side economists. Don't know if I've ever seen a brewery work the supply/demand charts as well as them. They've earned it, stop bitching I guess.

You are correct in the regard that FFF has the right to charge whatever they want for their products. I'm all for an open marketplace so to speak. However, when you read the reviews on Battle Priest, you can't help but feel bad for people who spent $35 on a bottle that tasted like bath water. I just hope people feel they got their money out of it.

How's everyone that bought Battle Priest enjoying that $35 beer!

FFF can charge whatever they want but every release like this makes me like them less and less. Plenty of great beer out there.

FWIW, the BB aged moloko (not Ronaldo) was pretty tasty. But not $35/750 ml tasty. I'd rather have another eclipse at that price
