I am just going to cross my fingers and buy into the 8,500 tickets myth, and say that it will be ok even if the weather is awesome. That said, if it is really only 8,500 people... we will all be back in the parking lot and the bands will be off site via satellite.

 

Oh man. Come on sunshine and 20 degrees!

 

I mean, unless Munster PD is actively trying to downplay the event to the two railroads, "a beer festival which is anticipated to attract 8,500 people" is the cops line.

"Patrons line up for entry into this event as early as 0400 on the day of the event" is also in the PDF, but I think I saw tweets from last year saying people were already lined up at 0030.

 

Honestly, I would probably take anything over $150.

 

I think going in with the idea to sell is a little douchey, but I can't fault anyone for giving their bottle up for that sort of money. If you're already at DLD and guzzling whales all day, one bottle of BA DL seems a lot less important.

With that being said, I'd only sell one of the two bottles I'm getting myself (one for the gf), unless offered obscene amounts of money. Collecting experiences is a large part of the hobby to me, as corny as that sounds.

I guess $150 will get you half a reso at Alinea, after tip and maybe a glass of wine. Or it could net you a well worn rowboat to get you started on your trip to Hawaii!

True, $150 isn't eye popping, but $300 is.

 

Because I'm too lazy to dig through 54 pages of weather faux-casts and general Dark Lord nonsense....I forget. Do Group A members have a separate entrance to get in to the grounds or are they just encouraged to go in a specific entrance?

My friend and I have Group A tix but the rest of our friends are in B. So wondering if we'll be able to hang in line with them before entering or if we'll all be whisked away.
