Has anyone had a chocolate ipa? what would make somone want to try that?

 

Black IPA maybe? Aged on vanilla beans to get the white chocolate part and aged on mangos?

 

I have faith in these brewers and sure, i'd drink that. maybe im a just a simple man for wanting my stouts chocolatey and ipa's mago-y.

 

Whatever they say the flavors are, it's probably just going to taste "dank" and "juicy" and "hopped up" like all IPAs do these days.

 

Mango IPA, I'm there!!!!!

 

If they can that it will be the biggest shit show in all of history

 

No doubt it will be canned, probably released on May 7th.

 

That sounds like it has the potential to taste atrocious, but I'll withhold judgment until we know more details. Tired Hands apparently just put out a chocolate raspberry milkshake IPA, so we should have some idea of whether this will be good based on feedback from that one.

 

Only a matter of time until the OH/SingleCut/Trillium/TH/Carton/Omnipollo Hawaiian Coconut Mocha Dragonfruit Sparkling Peach S'mores DIPA collab.

 

omnipollo just posted a photo on Instagram. They are literally putting white chocolate in it. I really thought they would try to get the white chocolate flavor some other way, I assume it will all ferment out.

 

next release rumors?

 

exactly. what do they think its going to do for the beer? white chocolate is just cocoa butter, no powder or solids.

 

So much saltiness! You'd think people are being waterboarded with this beer or something.

 

Drinking Double Mosaic Dream right now. This beer is really good. They should have canned this over Stacks for sure. I might actually wait in line for this one. Very dank and resiny with the perfect amount of tropical hop aspect. Completely clear too (beers dont have to look like OJ to be good).

 

So I bought on All Citra Everything at Court St. Grocers because I missed the release, and for whatever reason didn't get around to it until tonight. It definitely mellowed out (considering a lot of people said it was hot). I quite liked it, and was astounded at the amount of sediment, never seen that much before in a beer I don't think. The sediment definitely didn't negatively affect the beer though

The addition of El Dorado makes me sad. I enjoyed it when I tried it at the brewery but no matter what else is in the hop-bill I always find myself hating beers that include El Dorado.

Double Side-bar:

1. I had a chance to taste the Montueka/Mosiac IPA tonight and it was delicious.

2. What do we think is being canned on 4/23? What are the chances it's the Carton collaboration?

Pretty sure someone said above that it will be AGE and a collab. It won't be the Carton one, that was done at Carton I believe. It seems likely that it'll be the Finback collab, which is a Kölsch.

 

honestly tired of the hyped collabs. gimme the staples like all green and green diamonds.
