Am trying a glass of the new Sticky Hands at 16 tons right now. Damn, but they really have the recipe dialed in now. It's really, really good.

Just a shout out to Block 15 for making life so much sweeter with Sticky Hands.
I had it on tap in a funky local food restaurant "Hearth and Table" in Lincoln City this weekend.
I had had it in cans before..but it just blew my mind ( and taste buds) on tap.
Unluckily i could only have one pint with my pizza because i was driving.
    Thank you Block 15.
( they also had Ol' St Nick...thats for the next time)

Just drank a can of 4/4 batch and was a little underwhelmed. It's my first can of regular SH since the Tropical Slam. I remember when I first tried TS a few months ago I didn't think there was a huge difference between the two, but now going from the TS back to the regular I'm noticing a bigger difference. Or maybe it's just this batch. Picking up more soapiness and bitterness and less tropical juiciness than I remember the regular having previously. Anyone else notice this?

Yes. Thought it was just me, but the most recent batch on tap just seemed a bit underwhelming to me. Still good, but not as outstanding as previous batches.

That being said, I don't mean to nitpick B15 over this. The problem is, that they've now raised the bar so high, that my expectations have become ridiculously unrealistic. I've pretty much come to expect near perfection with every batch.

Well, I am excited then...I bought three 4packs of sticky hands that were canned on 4/4. My first experience with it. Outstanding beer. If this is a weak batch I can't wait to try a solid batch. I am already making plans on swinging by the brewery in July on my way to waldport on the coast. 15 minute detour tops.

I thought the Sticky Hands cask today at Belmont Station was pretty stellar.

I just wanted to say that since moving to Oregon several months ago, my husband and I just made our first trip out to block 15. I've never had their beers before, so it was a real treat.

Thanks for the good words. Here is a little info.

Sticky Hands: I really like where this beer is at now. I had the opportunity to select specific lots for many of the hops now being used. This has made the biggest difference in the character and quality of the beer. Our 2016 Amarillos are ridiculous, gorgeous tangerine. You can find our distribution schedule on our website. We spend a lot of time working with accounts to stock the right amount of cans so that they stay fresh, but hopefully not run out quickly. Thats great that some of you notice slight variations batch to batch. Although the recipe has been the same for the last few months we always expect some variation.

Ferme de La Ville Provisions returns late May 21st , as does Peche and new Turbulent Consequence blends Framboise and Queen Ann (golden cherries). We will be having a Bruch release with info to come in a couple weeks.

Imagine will return in 2017 but we have begun filling enough barrels for yearly releases thereafter, and will be able to do more variations.

Incredible was a pub/taproom only can release. We will begin monthly can releases of freshly packaged hop forward beers at our pub/taproom this summer alongside a bottled barreled beer offering.

For the most up to date news you can sign up for our newsletter from our website.

Personal request. is there any way to produce more of the Breakfast with the Buffalo in future years? I was able to get 2 bottles and they were effing amazing. I just wish there was more of it so more Oregonians could try it! We have a truly world class BA Coffee/maple stout brewed in our backyard and pretty much nobody got to try it

Yes, The Breakfast With program will continue. The recipe is the same but a different bourbon barrel, coffee bean, and nib selection each year to complement the blend. We did fill more barrels with Maple Super Nebula (Woodford Reserve Barrels) this year so we expect a larger volume to blend. Larger being 6 barrels instead of 3.

With the bigger volumes, do you expect any of these BA and other limited releases to see any (limited) distro?

Do you think you could send some beers up to Washington at some point? The Intergalactic Hop Shop was great when I bought some cans at Chucks Hop Shop. It would be nice to try your other offerings.

I cracked a 3.5 week can last night, and it was drinking fantastically. I've had some issues with past batches devolving incredibly quickly (1-2 weeks), so this is relieving to see. Anyone else able to keep their cans long enough to try this?

Just tried their brett infused funky hands tonight. I've tried a few brett ipa's in the past, but nothing like this. Am hesitant to say too much, but imho, this beer really pushes the envelope in terms of using brett with an ipa. At least for me, I found this to be one of the most innovative and exciting new beers I've tried in some time.

Not sure that "flush" is the right word, since I haven't heard of any place other than Chuck's which had anything, and them not too much. Speaking of which, can anyone say whether there'll be any cans left at GW or CD tomorrow?
