I have had the same issue before when I ignored people in this forum in an attempt to unclutter. Unfortunately, there are so many replies to them that ignoring does nothing. A simple ban would suffice, though...

if it becomes disruptive, please report them and let us evaluate the situation. feeding the trolls yourselves can work here or there, but over time only emboldens them. we can take more direct action.

we've moved away from bans more or less except in specific, extreme or repeated situations. this guy is a candidate though.

I might need to get another Parabajava, the one and only bottle I got I shared it with like 6 others (I think 3 of which struck out that one day last year we shall not speak of)...silly me.

I'll wait for Firestone Mira Mesa to open (btw, please open one down here, kthx4itbai), then I can watch a battle royale of speedway vs. parabola vs. beer geek variants.

Any chance they'll have some PJ come the weekend? I may have the opportunity to get up that way Sunday morning, but really don't want to drive all the way up there to find out they don't one item I'm specifically there for. I guess it all depends on when they get their shipments, and if they hold stock for each day.

It sounds like they are holding stock for each day. You can try calling during the shop's business hours and explain your situation.

For those that have been: Assuming it's not dog-friendly? Photos didn't seem like it was (and no indication on Yelp), but figured this group would know for sure. Thanks!

I don't believe the tasting room or restaurant portion has a patio, so I'm pretty sure no dogs. At least not that I could see.

Yeah that's my take too. While I didn't explicitly ask, the place did not look dog friendly. Bike friendly, yes. BA friendly undoubtedly, but it looks like your best friend(s) may have to stay home.

I dunno. I had a long conversation, and while it's brah friendly and does have a lot of really good stuff on tap, it's not your typical beer bar. So it's BA friendly adjacent. I honestly see this being more of a bro's or girls night out type of place of 6 or more folks going for a beer and what not than what Barrelworks is to beer snobs.

    Def. not dog friendly.

That's kind of the vibe that I get as well.

Heading up this afternoon, anyone know if PJ is still for sale?

They have plenty of PJ, Parabola, Velvet Merkin and 19 to go around. 1 PP and they log your driver's license. I like this release style alot, when I was in there some guy was trying to argue with them about the policy because he wanted to get one for his uncle/cousin/brother blah blah blah. I'm glad its 1pp so gives locals a chance.

Sadly no patio (thanks, City of LA) but hopefully it'll get permitted in the future. No puppies at FW Venice allowed, which is a very sad thing for all of us.

Not that Golden Road makes amazing beer... but that outside patio got ruined when it turned into a Doggie and Kid daycare facility. I haven't been since, won't go back. If I wanted shitty beer and a bunch of annoying kids, I'd go to Chuck E. Cheese.

Lame sentiment. There's a huge indoor space for you, there's a huge outdoor upstairs space for you, there's a huge long outdoor space for you downstairs too, and then there's the small outdoor space where kids and dogs are. Lord knows you have plenty of adult options. Let people with families who like to live a rich life have some fun.

It's their joint now, they can have it. Like you said, I have plenty of other options. Totally different type of place, but I'd rather give the Glendale Tap my money.
