I've had good luck aging both Parabola and Sucaba. Last year I did a Parabola vert 2012-2015. I thought 2012 was the best and smoothest out of the bunch.

Is anyone getting a really nasty bitterness with this years Parabola?

Definitely not. Not really any bitterness whatsoever in the bottle I had.

Will stores (bevmo/tw) continue to get new shipments? Like is it worth going back to those sold out stores later for future shipments?

Drinking a Parabola right now at PCH in Oceanside. Keg went on today and seems more interested in the Pliny.

Have you perhaps had a few Parabolas?

You could order Parabola right now at K&L Wine Merchants to pick up at their Hollywood store.

Oceanside BevMo had some today. They counted them for the buy 3 22oz and get 20% off sale. Limit was one but the guy was nice and let me buy 3 (I was with the gf who happened to be wearing a FW shirt). Got a 4 pack of booming rollers, total before tax was 50.73. Had a $10 off 50 coupon for my birthday. It was a good day.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll ask this here: is Sucaba on shelves at all anymore? I am driving from SF to Russian River then to Carmel on Friday/Saturday. I apologize if that's a silly question but I ask out of ignorance

Theoretically it could be, but pretty unlikely unless the store is pretty out of the way. Might have luck with an in person trade though.

Ok thanks for the dose of reality haha. I'll make peace with the RR goodies to take home

I've seen it at a couple liquor stores in San Jose recently. Probably depends which way you are driving to Carmel as to whether it's worth your time to check

I live in Atascadero bout 13 minutes south of FW in Paso and our Vons and a few liquor stores have Sucaba on the shelves. Not sure what liquor stores are around Carmel and what they may have.

I got one a couple weeks ago in San Jose, and pretty sure there were more the next time I went in (a few days later). If they aren't too out of the way, I'd check both Santa Clara Liquors and Maplewood Liquors.
