It's out here in CA, and it's almost gone

 

Both barrelworks and Paso are out. Although who knows for 100% sure. Stopped by barrelworks at lunch today. None in the case woman behind taps said all gone. We grabbed a quick bite my fiance wanted to buy a shirt she got sick of waiting at the bar and went over to the barrelworks tap side to check out and all of the sudden 12 more bottles were in the fridge. Gone by the time we left. Had dinner at Paso none left there or the emporium.

 

In 2013 I literally grabbed the last Parabola they had, which was in October. They sold it for $40, which was crazy. But was more crazy was that I dropped the bottle on my way to the car and it broke.

 

Does this beer ever come to Michigan?

 

Finally arrived in NorCal today, got a case for $90.

 

...and everyone in the Chicago area just said a collective Mutha Fu#%@!!!

 

I got 2 bottles over the weekend. I was told to check back on Tuesday at some other places. We will see.

 

No FW in Michigan. Check out this website for distribution. They keep it pretty up to date. It's also helpful if you trade and are looking to find breweries to send extras from. www.seekabrew.com

 

Doesn't seem to be in Philly/SEPA yet. Anyone see it around here?

 

Is it all gone in Hampton roads? I only saw one place post on social media but no one seems to have it.

Does anyone know if in NYC does it typically come out only at whole foods or will other shops get it at some point? All of the Whole Food's sold out immediately and I haven't seen it pop up anywhere else.

 

It should hit elsewhere but it seems like there might be somewhat of a lag. Not sure why Whole Foods got it so quickly - with Sucaba, there was a huge lag before it hit NYC (well over a month), but Parabola hit only 2 weeks after it was released at the brewery. Seems tough to predict.

 

You mean you got 6 bottles for $90?, you didn't get a case for $90.

 

scored one in CO! I called everywhere around my house and work for a bout a week and finally got one. Hard to time, as each store seems to get a case max, and they never seem to know when it's coming. Very hit and miss. I usually won't put that much effort into finding a beer but I love this one! Now we'll see how long I can wait to drink it.

 

Isn't a "case" of FW boxed beer 6 beers? I always thought it was a bit weird that that was considered a case though.

 

Parabola comes in cases of 6.

 

Landed in KS today for the first time. And yes, just like some fine wines, it comes in 6 bottle cases.

Finally arrived in Santa Cruz today. It took longer to get here than Chicago.
Ya a case is 6. It used to come in a case of 12, not sure which year they switched it to 6.
