Having learned my lesson from last year, I'm going to try my hardest not to overdo it in terms of bringing bottles. Last year I cleared my cellar out and also suffered the consequences. This year's lineup will be a little better....

I think I need to stop thinking about what beers I'm bringing and just wait until a few days before to really decide. I have added Short's Batch 5000 and 1-2 Trillium IPA's to what I will most likely bring, but now I'm debating whether to bring a variety of coffee stouts (SMS, Big Bad Baptist, KBS) or do some BCBS verticals/different variants. My mind goes back and forth whenever I start thinking about it.

 

I'm now thinking some lighter Live Oak and sour Blue Owl cans might be welcome in this molten fudge sea of white whales.

Will also bring some pickle juice.

 

I think I should be bring my highly sought after 2013 BA Apocalypse Cow.

But seriously, when will they release the bands?

 

I have had similar thoughts. I am going to bring way too much stuff up for the weekend and will likely decide what comes in to DLD on the morning of... from the hotel. I'm itching to do a couple of verticals, want to do them with people who will appreciate it... but don't see myself sitting down to do it at the event. I don't think I have ever sat down at DLD and verticals take a bit of time in one place... Friday night on the other hand... it could go down.

 

If it isn't barrel aged, I'm out.

They announced the music on twitter a few hours ago. Jimmy Buffett and Barry Manalo are swapping two hour sets all day. No other acts scheduled aside from three hours of open mike time for beat poets.

 

That's exactly what I was thinking about the verticals I was thinking of doing. I find them more appropriate for a sit down session devoted to them.

 

Sitting around where? I want some more!

If you go with the Kiwi, id recommend making it your last bottle of the day. That thing is straight battery acid.

 

The weather forecast will start being pretty accurate now that were less than 2 weeks away. 66 degrees right now sounds amazing.
