So what you're saying is that we should French Press this with some other adjunct?

Press with coffee (French roast) and French Vanilla beans, then pour over French Vanilla ice cream.

Link for Mexican Speedway bottles is up.

    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mexican-speedway-stout-bottle-release-tickets-24605007239

Looks like 1pp proxy (2 orders total can be picked up by one person).

You know you are slipping when someone hits you up to pick up their bottles before you even know the event has a sale date. =P

Edit: May 2nd @ 11am is when they go on sale. Sorry, that is important information for those that don't get the newsletter since I don't see that info on the eventbrite page quite yet.

If I'm reading the rules on #4, you can be a proxy for 2 people if you weren't ordering any yourself?

And the waves of "who can pick it up for me, brah" will soon start.

I'm a little worried about this one. I wonder how it compares to say a BA Cake, or BA Abraxas.

    No Chilli obviously... Hmmm...

And different barrels for the 2 you mentioned compared to this one.

I wonder if this going to show up in kegs all over the place like Hammerhead

Hammerhead doesn't have any BA components. No idea what the ratio is in Mexican between BA and non-BA, but I wouldn't count on it being quite at the same scale.

Yeah, I figured. The fact that it's a blend of BA & fresh beer is what got me wondering.

Good thing my GF loves San Diego, going to be in SD this weekend and looks like I'll be making another trip to make it for the pickup window.

I hope this is PNC and not almost every other tequila BA beer.

This sounds awesome, except for the tequila, I hope it is very light with the barrel.

Considering the speed (or lack thereof) with which Hammerhead moved, it will be interesting to see how quickly this goes.

The power of the barrel will make it move faster, i think...

I emailed...they said sometime this week. Sounds like it will probably be one of those "here's the e-mail, buy it now" things.

Very true, but I find tequilla barrels to be polarizing for a lot of people. I know a few Speedway lovers who have no interest in this one. Not me though, I'll be maxing out!
