So, my local grocery store have a Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week event tonight and this was the draft list. Can anywhere in the country beat this. They have only 6 taps.

    Lost Abbey Track Ten
    Voodoo Grand Negro Voodoo Papi
Green Flash Unblended Silva Stout aged with Coffee
Oskar Blues Brandy Barrel Aged G'Knight
Fatheads Barrel Aged Battle Axe Porter
    BCBS 2015

This is a grocery store ... a grocery store. Please share.

Nice. Only grocery store I've seen with a bar is Whole Foods. But the few I frequent don't. I'd much rather go to a beer bar and have a drink than a grocery store though.

When the grocery store is $15 for a flight of 4oz pour of these, I'm there.

Don't have the recent tap list, but the bar inside the Kroger Grocery in Suffolk, VA knocks it out of the park. Their bottle selection is also over the top !!And prices are the best around, especially on draft, and they will not take tips, WoW !!

Yeah, the Fred Meyers (owned by Kroger) near me always has a tap list about that solid. Growlers of Bottom Cutter while picking up english muffins, fried chicken, and yogurt? Yup, I'm on board.

Damn thats awesome. Sadly enough grocery stores in my state only sell food although a tap list like that would make me seek out a bar or restaurant in a heart beat

I wish i could get beer in the grocery store in NJ. Itd be easier instead of making several stops.

It's insane seeing something like Voodoo's Grand Negro Voodoo Papi on tap at a grocery store. The grocery store in question is my go to bottle shop and not only is it well stocked, but the special events and promotions are easily communicated by their social media and are run as smooth as you could imagine.

I haven't had it, but I've heard Green Flash's Unblended Silva Stout (Coffee) was delicious.

Don't have a specific list...but Whole Foods has been slaying it for a decade now in NYC with their draft beers...and have rolled it out pretty much nationwide wherever local regulations allow.... great way to sink a few beers while grocery shopping!

Most of my drinking is done at Whole Foods, can't say I buy many groceries from them. They have good prices and usually great taps. Plus they know my name.

You can, but only in municipalities that permit it - there is no state law that prohibits it.
Where legal, there are grocery stores/drug stores that sell beer on their regular sales floor at their regular registers. That is the case with the Wegmans and the Trader Joe's on US Rt. 1 outside of Princeton (I guess the actual municipality is West Windsor) - although the Wegmans also has the more common attached "liquor store". There are several other examples around the state (a number of the "membership" big box stores) but it remains relatively rare.

In Houston at the Whole foods you can get a beer/wine and walk around and shop. At the HEB's here in Houston you can only sit in a designated area and drink, no shopping and walking (assuming there is some kinda insurance thing going on). The third store chain to start selling beers on Tap is a Krogers about 7 miles from my house, not sure what their rules are, but since I am rained out of work until Monday, I might head over there for lunch and see what the deal is. When they opened they had all Houston brewery beers on tap (that can also be bought by the can/bottle). I am hoping that was some type of promotional deal as those growlers aren't going to fly out the store.
