Closed. No bottle sales after the event. Don't even try. The only way to get these super extremely limited beers is to buy their ticket, and they're going to be sure of it!

On a serious note, I don't know but I did hear they won't be selling the bottles outside of the event.

    Fucking atrocious.

I have a feeling that the BA strong ale will be available for onsite consumption for a good long while. Can't see them moving all of those.

They are open 7-12 on the 29th.

Side note, just read the event posting again and previously had overlooked. 12 oz BA Bank for $14. Wowsers.

    The same beer will
Not to mention the same beer aged in cognac barrels costs $30 more, at $45!!! 10 more ozs which with the barrel selection and close to double the amount that's rediculous $30 is the absolute most I'd want to pay. I'm sure the Cognac is good but no BADL good w/ that price tag.

Anyone got a ticket update? I take it only the most ardent 18th St fanboys are going to this travesty of a festival.

You might even be able to enjoy all 7 pours over those 4 hours. Well, we can dream, right?

I think 2 hours will be enough time to enjoy all the pours if I want to, it is the small mini snifters I'm assuming. If I did the math right, (maybe I didn't) Id have to drink an oz of beer every 3.4 minutes, give or take, right? I think thats doable.

where did people start saying "90 minute window", this event was always two hours or 120 minutes, right?

I think people are assuming there will be some "lost time" due to getting in, getting bottles, etc. They may set it up well so that you get the full 2 hours, though...who knows. I would say that even a full two hours to drink 35 oz. of barrel aged beer is tough. I think I usually take almost an hour to "normally" drink a BA beer. Granted I could pick up the pace some in this kind of setting, but it's quite rushed.

Folks last year said the first 15-20 min was the staff talking and going over everything...then last call is 30 min before. plus you still need to collect your bottles.

So, less than 90 min window to slam my beers. Awesome.

Rumor has it that the DD's will have access to Money Abduction. This is going to be 18th Streets first attempt at making craft root beer. Select amounts of sassafras and other ingredients were hand selected by 18th Street staff. We are hoping that this root beer is so delicious that you forget about the $70 that disappeared from your wallet.

Not to mention you have to leave after the first session. You can't just stick around and enjoy them; they are forcing you off the property, so better have forked over the $70 for your DD or have Uber on standby.

Have they said anything about the bottle count of Cognac Bitch's Bank? I cannot go to the event, but I am definitely going to try to trade for one.
