Mexican Cake Release?

    Has any one heard when this will happen this year? I've heard may or possibly June but it was hear say.

    I doubt you'll get any more specific of a timeframe than the "May" listed on the website. Sometimes their barrel-aged stuff fluctuates from their projected dates on the site, but something like regular Cake should be pretty easy to stick to.

    We will know when it starts popping up in AL. Was fairly unannounced last year, but I think they still managed to make enough to get around for most folks.

    They'll drop it silently at the brewery on a weekday at some point in May, and a bunch of people will be on here bitching about how it wasn't announced ahead of time and on a weekend.

    Last year's was pretty fantastic, including claims about how craft beer is mostly about trading and limited releases, so I have high hopes for this iteration.

    I cant believe that last year I was lucky enough to be at Salud in Charlotte the day they got a case of MC. Doubt I will be that lucky this year.

    Hi, we don't know when we will be getting it yet. Last year I got my allocations on May 19th. Please note this has nothing to do with this year. In 2014 it came out on May 26th. In 2013 it came out on May 20th. In 2012 It came out in January since it was their first anniversary beer. Do with that speculation as you will, because I currently know nothin' Cheers :slight_smile:

    I'm only hoping they bottle more this year than last year. There wasn't much to go around in the upstate last year from what I heard.

    I was very surprised that NC got bottles last year (albeit not many. Hope that is the case again, but I'll be happy just getting to try it on draft.
