Hint: somewhere in my targets address is the number of a beloved '90's Toronto Maple Leaf.

Box will be going out Monday.

So I love beer. I am a pretty devoted beer hunter. I usually try not to drink the same beer over and over unless its really good. Style wise I enjoy pretty much every style. If I was to put it down as a list it would probably be like this:

    Sours/Wild Ales
    Barrel Aged anything
    RIS
    IPA/DIPA
Stouts and all their glorious variations
    Barleywines
Fresh beer aka just off the line

I have had lots of my local offerings (Vancouver) just about all of them and alot of the offerings in Bellingham Washington which has quite a bit of American craft beer and lots of European beers.

I miss my Halifax beers like Garrison and Propeller as we dont get them out in BC anymore.

Hint #2 - My box is headed to a place where the river narrows.

I wrestled with the packaging and final beer determination this afternoon and shipped today at the buzzer. Weighing in at 35lbs and containing 280oz of fresh Ontario nectar the package will be arriving Wednesday or Thursday just in time to be chilled and enjoyed over the weekend if the member so desires. It hope you enjoy!
    Cheers!

If my target is willing to wait an extra 5 days for my box to go out, he will be the recipient of a disingenuous female dinosaur.

I forget exactly what I put in the box already (oops) so I can't calculate accurate ozs, but it'll be in a postal code starting with K by next Monday.

It contains 16 bottles/cans and weighs in at 39.5lbs. Lift with your legs.

Managed to pick up a couple of IPAs yesterday to round out the box. Will top out somewhere around 220oz. The biggest challenge will be fitting the growler in the wine shipper. Hope to have the box out the door tomorrow or Thursday.

Hint #2 - You are south of the 49th parallel but north of me.

Lucky me! It seems like I received my box first. Box from Electros contained:

    Left Field Galaxy
Brown leaves imperial stout (can't find much on BA about this one)
    Second wedge brewing
    Mistery paper wrap bottle?
    Old Flames Perry love Mary
Great Lake Octopus wants to fight
    Blood brothers IPA
Pop a Top opener (looks really cool!)
    Publican Square Nail
    Bell City Lenoir
Nickel Brook Uber Berliner Weisse Raspberry
    Brock St. Double Vision IPA
    Shillow Bitter Waitress
    Muddy York Dereliction IIPA
    Burdock IPA
North Coast Rasputin (old favorite of mine)

So many new craft breweries from Ontario that I didn't even know existed. Thanks Christopher.

Got a few more beers this weekend for the box.
Going to try and make a quick trip over the river to get a few other cool beers later this week.
Finally my targets patience may be rewarded with a floral winey brew due a day after the ship date.

    HINT#2: Target is west

Given that Phyl121ca mentioned 50 signed up, I do believe there are 2 participants who've yet to post in this thread :slight_frown:

Have we had a stats breakdown yet? I'm counting:

    44% Ontario
    24% BC
    12% Quebec
    8% Alberta
    6% Nova Scotia
    4% Unknown
    2% New Brunswick

Good job with the breakdown. I try not to share the details too early to keep some of the surprises. Also, the tricky part is some of the Ottawa/Gatineau sometime used their work address which is in a different province then their home address.

I get only ONE (2%) unknown at this point ... with 23 traders (46%) in Ontario.

That said, Phyl21ca mentioned that 50 signed up, but that he had to prepare two boxes to make it 51 ... could that be right? If we had an even number, then I don't think this should this have been necessary (25 senders/25 recipients) ... perhaps there are only 49 participants (and therefore everyone has now posted here) and that's why Phyl21ca would have needed to send two boxes (i.e. to make an even number)?

There is 50 participants with an additional pairings for me for a total of 51. An even number is not required but I registered the second package to avoid ON to ON pairings as much as possible and to cater for other special requests.
