I hope its random, just so the people who paid 400-600 secondary for their group A ticket (potentially)gets fucked.

    lol @ allergies

I'd be fine with that. If I got one that didn't interest me (notice I didn't say a crappy one), I'd try to trade it for another variant on site or just trade it later. I'm group B, I'll most likely get one of my top three if they don't randomize 'em, but I'll survive either way.

I'm more worried about surviving the "music".

Just got an email from 3 Floyds:

    Hi _______,

You may choose which variant you want, on a first come first served basis.

    Thank you for your email.

    Well that's good to know.

The article also said that there would be 20 variants making the released list only half the story. Frankly, I kind of like the mystery of all of this. In Group D so never figured a Vanilla would be an option. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I'll have fun either way
    See all you beauties Saturday!

Maybe. Are there still 10 unknown variants to be offered?

Maybe when the other ten variants are released they will give us some abstract names, but no ingredient list. Wonder if enough people would open them that day to find out?

Damn, and I was hoping senseless bitching about this would put us over the 100 page mark.

Ok finally the dust has settled on the "randomness" topic.

Atleast the weather forecast is changing drastically by the minute. I saw the high up to 63 as of this morning and its down to 57 now.

Let's talk about these "surprise" variants stated/rumored.

Good, I missed out on the Bourbon County drama, so I'm anxious to have a brewery to complain about/hopefully get free things from!

The forecast is changing because God is also interested in keeping this thread alive and kicking (via weather reports).

I think the person who wrote the story didnt know a damn thing about the brewery or dark lord day. His article was likely based on a half hour interview with Nick in which he scribbled down notes, then wrote the article a few days later.

It's possible that they are tapping 20 different variants, including vintage variants, which they have done in the past, I had 09 vanilla in 2013 and 11 bourbon in 2014. Those variants are tapped at random throughout the day. He might have mixed up those facts.
