Can we bring chips or bags of pretzels with us in our backpacks?

 

Yes, I usually bring a bag of pretzels and some granola bars to snack on in between beers.

 

Do not forget to bring a ton of water. That way, you won't get stuck having to pay for the barrel aged water.

 

Except it creates a new line at the voucher kiosks. And the guest taps were $5, not $5.26 so handing someone a $5 or even a $10 or $20 is not creating much additional time to transact change (if change would be even needed).

 

From 3 Floyds perspective, it makes sense to go to vouchers. I can only dream of the cash that was in some room at the brewery last year - easily north of $2.0 million. In miscellaneous $5s, $10s, $20s....boxes and boxes of loot....

I'm curious how much shrinkage there was, as cash business tend to have higher shrinkage than non. (And queue the "but the water was cold, Jerry!" in 5....4.....3....2.....)

Now, they've already banked $1.6 million (guessing 8000 tickets at $200 per?), and will keep any additional cash from vouchers in restricted locations, where its safer, and which they can monitor / secure more easily. Yeah, it'll be an extra bit of time for the customer, but I can understand why they would went this way.

Can you imagine that kind of cash?

 

Oh, I agree from a FFF perspective it makes sense. Those are all good points you make. I don't think it's a great move from a customer point of view though.

Seeing one forecast now calling for up to an inch of rain with possible thunderstorms and up to 30mph wind gusts.
