Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! Hoping to to get out and get a good sized bike ride in once it warms up a bit more later on today.

Very nice pale ale! Flavors of peach, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, and pine hops; with some light honey/bready maltiness; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Medium sized pine/spicy bitterness; light-medium bodied, fairly sticky/resinous, with some grainy creaminess in the mouthfeel. Moderate/increasing bitter dryness, with zero hop astringency. Highly drinkable and very bright/dank on hops. Really enjoyable session beer, was hoping for maybe a slightly bigger mouthfeel; but what is there is perfectly fine and not watery. Great Mosaic/Citra/Amarillo hop blend going on. This is a really nice addition to the year round lineup for me. I have grabbed a few more singles already.

My go-to hoppy American brown ale. Fantastic stuff. Flavors of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toast, dark bread, molasses, and light dark fruit; with medium herbal/grassy/pine hop flavors. Moderate pine/grassy bitterness, with a great balance of hop/malt flavors; with a moderately creamy/silky and smooth mouthfeel; with some hop stickiness as well. Light-moderate dryness. Definitely my top go-to DFH brew along with Namaste recently.

Awesome American imperial stout. Flavors of big earthy dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted dark bread, caramel, toffee, smoke, char, and light molasses/dark fruit; with some moderate pine/light citrusy hop notes. Good sized roast/char and pine bitterness; with a medium-full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel with balanced sticky/chalky roast and hop notes as well. Good dry finish with zero lingering hop or roast astringency. Lightly warming, dangerously easy drinking. This was the last of it I had, but if I see more I’ll pick some up. The Pataskala Red IPA has been long gone now, which is unfortunate.

2012 vintage. Incredible, just like the last time I had this vintage. Flavors of big tart cherry, red grape, cranberry, green apple, hay, straw, funk, red wine vinegar, caramel, brown sugar, leather, pepper, and toasted oak; with light hints of oaken vanilla. Smooth/crisp finish with plenty of lactic acidic/tannic dryness and zero astringency. Highly drinkable, outstanding fruited Flanders brown style. I hope I can find this again eventually, this was pretty easy to get back then; I haven't seen any of the sour sisters other than Lolita in the last year.

Wait, that seems wrong. Though it has been a while since I hit the links. So wrong attitude, but likely prophetic. Cheers, all!

Good morning BAs! It has been awhile since I've been able to log on in the morning, but now work winds down - I've only got to write Tuesdays final for my micro class. The end is near! Another overcast cold day here in NW PA - typical weather for most of the year. Today's new breakfast beer is:

And now I realize that is a tied fly on the cap and it's oriented incorrectly. Duh!
