At least they are able to laugh about it. I could see some breweries getting bent right out of shape by some of those reviews.

    Horse blanket.

A localbar/restaurant does a similar thing, they have local actors read the bad Yelp reviews:

Yeah I laughed at the "gypsy swill" description as well. That's a nice slang talk addition to the forum. I guess it's sort of on par with prison hooch.

    I want more, they're great!

It illustrates where social media has taken us. Everyone has an opinion, even if it's an uneducated one - but to a certain extent, that's OK too. At least they had something to say...

I often tell people about this real life exchange I had with someone in the food industry about his (boasted) visit to a newly opened Philadelphia restaurant...
me: "What was it like? What's the menu like?"
him: "It was so good! So good!"
    me: "Why?" (me asking)
him: "It was sooooo good! Sooooo good!"

C'mon? Even Anthony Bourdain can do better than that!

I suspect all breweries get these, but Victory made lemonade from lemons. Kind of like their beer.

But....but...but...... the beer tastes like.....what it says it is.
They should make it all taste like Corona. How do they expect anybody to drink that stuff?))

Plant Delights prints customer letters , divided into Glowing Testimonials, Rants, and Twilight Zone. Haven't looked in awhile, but it seemed half the rants were about the fact.... that they publish the rants. ; )

I enjoyed it, they make good beer they know it, most everyone knows it. It takes the sting out a bit from this stuff and you can get a chuckle out of it. They hit far more than they miss, but I did hate Wild Devil, I think I spit it out before I actually swallowed it. Now that was a bad beer , for me at least, not my style.
