Agree with this but it will most likely just be Head High we are drinking this summer in cans. The only other label that I know of that has been approved (or is in the approval stage) was Overhead and last time I was at the Brewery Michael said probably early fall for cans on that.
It's all the legal BS and label approval that will keep them from just cranking out cans of Citra and Ripple over the summer as the process for getting those approved is long. And I believe they were supposed to come up with a name for HL Citra and not even sure that has been done, so we'll all just have to be patient and settle for growler fills on the other beers.

Overhead for football seasons sounds tremendous.

The Simplicity and Solitude labels are for 750ml bottles, not cans.

We're in good shape to have citra pale ale join the regular rotation... as close to year-round as possible

That probably just depends how you define not so distant future. We obviously want to can a lot of these beers you guys are talking about but there are a lot of practical limitations. The design process, approval and printing process etc, plus the physical limitations of storing all those cans. Minimum orders are huge and that new space is filling up fast, as any of you who have been to the brewery recently can probably see.

Citra was great as usual. Picked up a growler on Sunday. It was empty by Sunday night.

Not to side track but any clue if KBS is still there? If so I might have to convince the wife that a dinner out is needed.

It's amazing, and that's coming from someone who didn't get the hype first round. It was so different I upped my rating significantly. Looking back everything from the look, smell, feel and taste changed a bit for me all for the better. It had some more orange to the color, body was a tad heftier yet soft, citrus for days, but softer more rounded bitterness on the finish and slightly dryer. I pounded a 16oz of it and got 2 more. They got the last batch right IMO.

It needs a name and a graduation certificate. It's world class.

    I suggest Citra High, Boom.

On the menu it was listed under the "next up" and I just asked if it was on yet and they said yea. So I'd imagine they just tapped it. Not sure how long it will last but I don't think that's a place people are going for beer (unlike Brickwall for example) so I would think it's still there)

Multiply that experience by 50 and you'll know what it's like to try to name a new beer...

Was going to suggest Citragasm - Someone else has it.

If not, Vivacity. It don't make no sense but Kane uses one word beer names sometimes like Solitude and Simplicity, why not something related to being alive.

CPA should be the name. Fits on a can nicely, easy to say, etc.

Sunset Pale Ale. Brewery is off Sunset Ave and kind of fits with the beachy themed cans.
