Was really disappointed with the very first release and I haven't bothered since. Didn't taste anything described on the label.

Loved last year's release, and still have 3 bottles in the cellar. Agree with the OP - label art is fantastic for this year's version.

This is one of my favorite readily available beers. Look forward to it every year. Still have a few of each vintage sitting around.

Last year's was fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to this one. Having said that, I just can't get past Wesley Crusher on a beer bottle. It's like there's some sort of interdimensional rupture in the fabric of the universe. Send it back to where it came from before it's too late.

Love that this gets a summer release every year when big abv stouts are typically not very common. Always a welcome sight in the beer isle while session ipas seem to take up too much space.

Totally agree that the first year was meh. The recipe changed a bit in the second year and I thought it was worlds better than the original. At its price point, it deserves another shot.

The bottle looks fun but I can't wait for the stout!

I'd buy it just for the bottle...It also doesn't hurt that it will likely be a world class stout at an amazing price point too!

Does this beer hold up well with age? I tried my last 2015 a month ago and it seemed to have fallen off a bit, almost tasted old. My cellar hovers right around 60 degrees, so I don't think temp had much to do with it. I have been hesitant about picking up the last few 2015's in the cooler at my bottle shop, but I do love this beer though

Just had a 2015/3.0, and I'd say it's holding up very well
