Let's eat! Cheers BA! Nutritionally balanced and paired with Victory Summer Love this is Thai Spiced Duck breast with Bok Choy and Apple Salad. The blonde is a favorite style of mine. Soft and full of flavor the prominent hop in this beer is exactly right for this dish! The other challenge when making a meal is for the purely fussy. WHo had kids that would not eat the food if it was "touching" on the plate? Those are the future chefs if you can snag 'em before they go to frozen food. Everything on this plate can be eaten with everything else. I defy you to tell me different if you have tried it! Cheers!

Jopen Hoppenbier (hops beer). Double hopped crisp beer with a malty foretaste and a lingering, bitter finish.

The quality of the photography here is probly as bad as i've ever seen but the beer is top notch... Pint of Karl Strauss Aurora... Nice and hoppy, fruity, flavorful, crisp, clean on the finish. I got a half pint of grapefruit Sculpin also and the Aurora was better.

I came home to find this beer and temperatures in the 40's. I'm only loving half of that equation. Another tasty batch of Enjoy By with a subtle touch of tangerine in the smell and flavor. I would love to see it dialed up a notch. A ton of things to catch up on around here before hosting a Kentucky Derby party on Saturday. I better get busy!

I'm so excited that little Hazel is joining our family. We were devastated when we lost our sixteen year old shepherd mix Zoey last year and really missed having a dog around the house. We've only had her for a few days but I'm already in love.
