Man, another NJ brewery opening so far away from me. Almost two hours, yikes!

Exactly the opposite for me. So close!

Gloucester County has at least 4 breweries scheduled to open soon... 2 in Pitman, 1 in Glassboro, 1 in Woodbury.

When I looked at their Facebook page and I saw their brewhouse I thought "Look at those tiny little pots", and then I remembered that I've had some very good beer out of 'tiny little pots'!!!

The time I'm spending writing this could have been spent just googling but where the heck is Pittman, NJ?!

    Gloucester County. Southwest Jersey.

Major nearby roads are Rt 47 & 55.

It's close to Rowan University, if that helps at all.

Yea it's about 5 minutes from me. Also to add to the Gloucester county breweries coming soon, there is going to be one in williamstown on Main Street as well.

Kelly green is a very small setup. One of the Brewers is affiliated with the keg and barrel store in Berlin I heard. I believe they said it was a 5bbl setup so if they take off, they will run out quickly. Same problem that lunacy had when they first started out. They had to shut down a few weekends to build back up supply

    Their own website's FAQ says:
:grimacing: That's a lot of brewing to just get and keep those 10 tap lines full, not even considering the needed fermentation capacity.

I am glad that more and more breweries are spreading throughout New Jersey but driving to all these places is really gonna add up on my mileage. :grinning:

It's nice to have options to pass some time if traffic on the way to the shore is too bad.
I'd rather detour and sit on a bar stool for an hour or so than stare at the bumper of the car in front of me.

Thanks for the info. My son's at Rowan, but I still doubt I'll be able to check it out any time soon. They move out on Tuesday, but I'll probably be on my way home before this place is open for growler sales. Maybe in August when I bring him back down there. Good luck to them in any event.

I can't see anything on Facebook right now. Does it say days/hours?
I'll be doing Stone Harbor/Glasstown on the weekend of the 21st. So this might be an option.

I didn't see hours either, but since we have to be moved out by noon it really doesn't look good for me. Weekends are usually better for breweries, so hopefully hours are posted once they are up and running.

Thanks @TongoRad I'll keep an eye out then. Would love to swing that trip from Glasstown to Kelly Green if they are open on Sundays.

Sounds like it qualifies as homebrew.

I've been following Human Village and they've been working non-stop to get that one going. I was hoping they'd all open around the same time to knock those all out at once.
