I can't imagine this release being crazy. The weather is also going to be pretty bad Saturday, no one likes waiting in the rain.

I'll probably end up getting my full allotment of AGE and then 2-3 bottles of the Table to try.

I love their farmhouse beers but yea I'd just prefer to not spend $12 on less than 17 ounces when in reality if I was at a bar and they had an OH farmhouse ale on tap for for $11 a pint I would likely pass. For a wild ale I could understand but I don't think a 5.1% brett ipa deserves that price tag.

Marble Brewing in New Mexico does a brett IPA that's among the most fruit forward and delicious hoppy beers I've ever had. I'm eager to try OH's take on a brett IPA, especially with those hops!

There's no reason to line up for this release. Between the rain, the fact that AGE is old hat and this Table Beer is whatever/a giant rip off...you'd be a fool to get up early for this. They'll all still be there by 4pm guaranteed, probably later.

It's ok, you can be sure there will be a line anyway because the Breakfast Club will be there - apparently this is the name of one of the groups, per instagram comments.

I hope I am not the guy/girl next to you in line on Saturday that has to keep listening to you repeat this drivel. I was hoping when you said your rant was over on the last page, it would mean you wouldn't be posting anymore.

My bad, it was the 16.9ers. Although many corrected that already. I'm a bit late to the party. Got busy. Haha.

In general, it's necessary for breweries to charge more than places they distribute, otherwise those businesses lose all incentive to carry them. That's why you're paying more at the brewery.

In my book, a beer with Brett added IS a wild ale.

Nice! Marble with a shout out. I too love their Brett IPA. I will say though, we were bitching here locally when it was selling for $18 a 750. Haha.

Probably should have been more specific...I was thinking something more along the lines of a fruited sour (Like Allagash 500ml sours which sell for around $13 by me)

The more I drink Lime Green Galaxies and City Slickers, the more I love these beers. Total crushers. What an underrated release day.

I had zero expectations for these beers and I am blown away every time I open one. It's sad to know they probably won't ever be made again.

Unfortunately, people hang off of OH's nuts and will buy anything they put out. People would buy a fucking OH IPA that was fermented in pig shit because it's an OH beer, sold only at the brewery, and lines+hype = good beer (apparently).

This beer will sell (albeit maybe not that fast). They are charging $12/bottle because they KNOW people will still buy it.

They are really pushing it with $12 for a 16.9 oz session beer.

Wait. A relatively new account on BA and you have only posted in OH and Grimm threads. And nearly every single one of your posts is a negative comment. Ok. Cool. Rant away if it makes you feel better.

But do you even realize that Beer Table the beer store and Table Beer by Westbrook are completely two different things?

I don't think this is right - Beer Table Table Beer is a series of beers that was, in fact, created by Beer Table. A bunch of breweries have done one-offs so far, including Westbrook, but also Evil Twin, Crooked Stave, Stillwater, Omnipollo, and others. This is Other Half's rendition. Also, the Instagram post tags Beer Table in it, so it's very clearly related to Beer Table. Not that any of this is a bad thing, just wanted to point that out.

City slickers is great. Wasn't able to get there but was able to trade for a 4pk and the guy tossed in the kolsch too which was really enjoyable. Looking forward to grabbing some AGE. Anyone have a current tap list?

Yeah you're completely right. I had a bit much to drink tonight and made a mistake because I was thinking of something else. But doesn't excuse a negative nelly.

Why all the hating on OtherHalf? If you don't like the price of the beer don't buy it simple as that. The same people who bitch and complain will be there the second they release some crazy beer. There will always be a line that's the craftbeer world we live in.

Their can prices are pretty much on point with most places it seems. Grolwer prices are a bit rough. Unless it's something I really want to try I'll usually skip a fill. Kane and carton are much more reasonable for me in that department. Didn't stop me from getting 3 Oat overdose fills though. :astonished:
