I got home a little while ago. The general store was open until 10 tonight. When I got there around 8:45 PM they had about 20 cases or so left. As I was walking out, a car with 5 people was pulling in (the driver mentioned he was going to hit me for my beer lol, so I'm assuming there went another 10 4 packs almost instantly).

I highly doubt there will be any around tomorrow; if there is, quantities will be very limited (again, only about 20 cases left as of 8:45 PM, with a 2 4pack limit).

I'd be shocked to see that go through, but stranger shit happens all the time.

 

Thanks for the info - not making it there myself, even if I'd like it. Just curious.

I agree that the ISO (hopefully) won't go through, but it sure was interesting. I think I'll just hope to catch this on tap at some Bell's event...still pissed I missed it at Funvitational.

That was my first thought too hahaha, but nope; Michigan... Had my Wife been home, she would have come along for sure too. This was definitely much more limited than I thought it'd be. And in typical Bell's fashion, no real fanfare...the beer just appears.

Kudos to Bell's for doing their releases in this manner, really keeps the crowds down (I did not even have to wait to buy the beer; walked in and grabbed the 2 4 packs, and paid).

Bonus was grabbing a 4 pack of BA Scotty Karate for $7.99 on the way home .

 

Guy ahead of me in line was a Michigan resident with his mother. Said grandma refused to get out of the car to wait in a line, though. (No lie.)

 

Well so much for trying to hunt this down in Chicago. Anyone drink one already?

Yes. Had one last night, at least as good as the 30th anny taps, and that was one of the best beers I had that whole weekend.

I had friends go at 10:45 and they still had some.

 

And I can't wait to drink this again. I had black note and BA expo at Funvitational. Sadly not side by side. And they were both amazing.
