Other Half Brewing Thread (May 2016)

Sigh, unfortunately going to miss all of the Grimm releases this month. Huge bummer since they are releasing like 4 new things.

While I'm getting on my Other Half high horse (and hence riding under the influence), in regard to all the haters who say, "learn to make good the beers you make rather than releasing all of these other DELICIOUS BEERS THAT I WOULD LINE UP TO BUY," I'd like to comment on their highest rated beers. I'll acknowledge that with OHs increasing popularity, their beers are being increasingly highly rated by less discerning palates (like mine!), but whatever, eat it haters.

Among their top 10 highest rated beers these were released over the past several months:

All Green Everything (not it's first time, but regularly released)
Second Anniversary (my personal fav they've canned)
Street Green
Chinook (bleh, that Becky with the good hair)
Double Mosaic
Stacks on Stacks
Make it Rain
Mosaic/Motueka (anybody else think this was more like a Grimm beer with it's fruity syrupness matching Tesseract and Lambo?)

That is, 8 of their 10 highest rated beers have been accessible over the past 6 monthsISH (if you nitpick street green, fine, drop it, that's 7 of 10! THOUGH I THINK OAT OVERDOSE BELONGS ON THIS LIST). How does that speak to their ability to improve recipes and crank out increasingly better beer? AND, extending slightly, you get City Slickers, !, Baby Diamonds, and We've been out (T)here in Orbit.
