I think the amount of time the brewery has been open means absolutely nothing. In this time and age where everyone has Facebook and other social media outlets, can J Wakefield or any other brewery not learn from another's mistakes? J Wakefield has problems because they don't listen to their customers and continuously make mistakes.

The amount of butt hurt is amazing when a Cycle thread turns in to a Wakefield bash. Let me guess, you want to wake up at whatever time YOU want and stroll right up to grab the beer.

What Wakefield does with his brewery is HIS prerogative and no one else's. Who the heck are you to tell someone else they're making mistakes? The amount of entitlement is simply stunning.

If you can't see the issue of announcing a triple bottle release weeks in advance with 100 bottles of each then it's not really worth arguing with you. If you can't see the stupidity in that then to each their own. That's just one of the issues too. But yes, the thread is getting off topic. Can't wait for the 16th!

I wish Cycle would announce the night before which beer is being released...I live an hour away and am only interested in a couple of them but Im gonna have to show up every day until I get the ones I want.

I've never been for the daily morning releases. How early should I plan on arriving to be safe? I was thinking 7, is that way off base?

Lololol, "He didn't do things the way I want him to so it's stupid. And you're stupid too for not agreeing with me"

for ttbw, if you were in line at 759, you would get the same amount of bottles as the person who got there at 3AM.

Doug walked the line and counted each morning adn based the limit on that to make sure everyone in line got bottles.

Both yall, relax. Scroll back a couple pages and see this argument already unfold by other voices on this thread, two or three times. You either support the brewery or you dont, plain and simple.

Anyone try Grapefruit Grove? Sounds great, but lately the groves have not been my personal favorites.

Hell, for every day except Thursday you were fine showing up between 8:30-9 and skipping any line entirely

Keep an eye on their Facebook. They might announce the bottle the night before.

To be clear, he walks the line about 15min before the release time, so to be safe, I'd be there before then.

I really enjoyed it. And I'm not that big a fan of grapefruit. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it much more than the Peach grove which I found to be a huge let down compared to the previous draft only Peach Grove and the Peach American Sour (not Grove series) they previously have done.

    From Cycle FB:

Update on our plans for the beer release next week

We will open at 8 AM Monday - Friday. We will release 1 beer per day, starting with the red label followed by white and then blue. The collab beers will be Thursday and Friday. Draft tapping time is likely going to be 5 PM, like Tampa Bay Beer Week.
Limits will be announced the day of after we see how many people show up. All of the Rare DOS and DOS Brunch will be multiple bottles, Rare Scoop may be as low as 1 per person.

The colors reflect different barrels, all whiskey but red is Wild Turkey, white is Heaven Hill and blue is Woodford. We have been waiting a long time to have the space for barrels and the quantity to be able to do some comparison, it has been fun and interesting on our end and we hope you enjoy this release as a way to experience the variation that barrels can bring. All of the Rare DOS variants will be $25.

DOS Brunch is our collab with Mikkeller, a blending of Beer Geek Brunch and Rare DOS recipes aged in "Colorado" whiskey barrels and then on Kopi Luwak coffee. Price is TBD.

Rare Scoop is our collab with 3 Sons Brewing Co. and it is beer ice cream, Neapolitan flavor. This one will be $30.

As always, Cash Only for the release beers.

On Cycle's Instagram it shows the 5 bottles that they are releasing next week along with a bottle next to them. Does anyone know what that is? I'm guessing it's from OrangeBelt?
