I picked up a second bottle when I stopped in and saw it still available this week, but was wondering what this would go for. I dont think it has gotten done on the ISO:FT forum so what would a bottle like this bring back? Has there been similar price/quality/rarity type beers from other places I could compare to? Thanks for the input.

I traded 2 BA Alpha Klaus for a GI Vanilla, Hunaphu's + CCB extras to make up $4$. In general, these FFF one offs go for decently rare beer but nothing too over the top.

First you tell me that Curious George isn't real and now you want Cognac Moloko trade value? We can discuss this at the Clam over some Pliny...

That should answer your question right there. It was a 1 bottle limit and its still available a week later? If it was worth rare beer in terms of "trade value" it wouldn't have lasted past 7 hours much less 7 days.

As far as barrel-aged FFF, I would probably rank it below BA Behemoth and just above the BA Alpha Klaus versions as well as Cabra. Well below BA Dark Lords.

    I'd say about $35.

Oh, it's definitely been traded a bunch of times on the ISO:FT board already.

How long did this one last at the brewpub?

I think the $35 price will turn a lot of people away from it. I wouldn't trade it $4$ for anything. $35+shipping is just too expensive for a cognac barrel aged milk stout IMO. For $35, I better be damn sure I'm going to like it.

For reference, how many of you can say Cognac Barrel Aged Beer Geek Brunch doesn't sound as good as this? Far better base beer IMO. And how many of you have not picked one up because of the price (about the same price/oz and a much smaller investment)? I know it doesn't exactly work like that, but it's something to think about.

I was at the pub on Friday around 5:00p and it was still available. Wanted to pull the trigger but $35 was too rich for my blood.

If you've already driven yourself to FFF, why in the world would you spend $35 on a BA Moloko when you can get a case of Zombie Dust for the same price?

C'mon man, Lost Abbey corks and Cantillon bottle caps are so passe. Try some Ann wax and then you'll really be in the money.

The big plus is you can mix the wax from Ann with some petroleum jelly and style your mustache up.
