A large portion of the big hype trade beers are from breweries that are the only standout example making that style in the region, the region goes apeshit for it and hypes it up, and they become hype beer. If you're making stellar IPA in Iowa, you become the big hype brewery and everyone starts going batty for your stuff. If you're making stellar IPA in California, you're one of many.

So what time are we all meeting at nicks to get burritos and bring them to the downtown location?

one of the best all time labels i think. such a great piece of art.

dumb question: is this beer an homage to System of a Down? because they're kind of.. not good

    great label though

I gotta think yes. They had Brews Dickinson couple of months ago. I gotta think Julian loves his rock.

Has anyone ever used the beer suggestion box at the LB location? I have thrown a couple in there over the years

I always put in BA MM. Once that is made I will try something else lol. Maybe we should try stuffing the box for BA MM?

I never thought of that, I always suggest a new name for a new beer. The last one I suggested was, " It is today, IPA". Maybe Ill suggest BA Tovarish!

Visiting LBC weekend of May 27. Thoughts on the Blendery releases from the weekend prior still being available?

yeah, blendery stuff does not sell out and sticks around for a few weeks, at least, before hitting small distribution chains.

Ok so give the rundown for someone who hasn't been to a beachwood release. System of a stout. Long beach or seal beach? How early?
