Bottle Logic Brewing Thread

FO isn't even in the top 10 most hyped beers ever. It's got a hype train but so many other beers have topped it.

 

Does anyone know what the different barrels are that they will be pouring at the blending/tasting event?

 

Buffalo Trace, WL Weller, Heaven Hill and Four Roses I think.

 

I'm guessing at least Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill as is the norm these days.

Right, I just wanted to see if anyone had the descriptions for each of the 4 barrels.

 

Still some Leche Borracho left. Said 30 bottles left as of about 37 minutes ago.

Just the fact there is still some left. Not really surprised, just mentioning.

 

@bottlelogiclindsay what is the blend of the FO served at the Bruery party going to be? Same as the week of logic?

 

@@bottlelogiclindsay Did the email you all just sent out go out to everyone by mistake? It says "you are receiving this because you have not registered" but everyone in my group that did register has received it.

 

We received the same message. I think it was accidentally sent to everyone

 

It's an early blend of just one selected barrel from each of the different brands.

Sorry for the scare, I pre-scheduled an auto reminder through Eventbrite to notify people who hadn't registered yet to do so and the email list caught the folks who had either registered after my auto-send date or hadn't clicked through the link exactly as designed. I think Leche Borracho is pretty damn good! Glad I didn't pass it up.

 

Picked up me bottles today. Was hoping there would be more, but no go, all sold out. Too bad, because it was another good job of blending some pretty distinct flavors.

 

I also went to pick up my bottles today. Once I tried it, I am bummed I'm not able to have a couple extra to cellar. They did an awesome job at blending all these awesome flavors together. Can't wait for the next release...hopefully FO next month.
