Drinking a 2011 Bourbon County Brand Stout in a Jolly Pumpkin Goblet and catching up on Game of Thrones.

Picked a case up on Wednesday. Always nice to revisit an old friend:

 

The girlfriend and I are about to head over to a friend's house with a case of Furious - where we'll get good and drunk. Then at 10 in the morning we are attending a cake decorating class. Jealous?

 

Just finishing up one of these that I bought earlier this week...



Not sure what I'll have next. Perhaps some FBS.

On a side note, I was at a local beer store today picking up a few items for a trade I'm working on and I passed on a bottle of Three Floyds/ Mikkeller Boogoop. Did I make a mistake????

After this, all I can say is I'm sure glad that Green Flash is now distributing here. Afterwards I had a Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale and now I'm having an ST Pumking, enjoying a nice Saturday night after a great Michigan State win.

Had some Iron Fist Velvet Glove Imperial Stout, a bottle of my friend's homemade cranberry cider, and bottles of Hinterland and Yuengling Oktoberfest.

Drinking a Lakefront Fixed Gear red ale. (not my photo)



I've been trying to experiment with red ales lately to find ones I like, and this one is really quite enjoyable, which surprised me a bit because most Lakefront stuff I've tried has been pretty forgettable (although never offensive). This has a really hop-forward character, and is very citrusy/grapefruity. I'll be picking this up again.
