I wish every beer was released in can form. I like bottles a lot, but cans are so much more convenient.

I'd be fine if they only bottles were 750ml bottles.

This isn't rocket science, but I love can or bottle art changes. It lets me know what is old and what isnt. It's an instant bottled on date notification.

Weihenstephaner had a slight change on six pack holders awhile back. Deschutes and Odell as well. Now with a new format, I won't have to think too hard about if this stone IPA can is old or not. I will know right away. It's a fun 3-4 month phase of not really having to think about the age of beers.

I know Cedar Creek Dankosaurus changed from 4-16oz cans to standard 6-12 oz cans a couple months ago. But many stores haven't changed that up. I look at these changes as solid gauges in a beers age.

Skaa Steel toe milk stout went away from bottles for good a few months back. One place in town has the new cans. Everything else is assuredly, old stock.

Beer stores ultimately don't care. They trust their distributors, who also may not care. It's up to us to know what is new or not so new.

TLDR. I like this change. I can assuredly buy fresh CANNED Stone IPA and enjoy for a good 3-4 months. I approve of these changes/additions

Those cans look sharp. Surprisingly, I've never had Stone IPA. If I see these in a short timeframe (fresh), I'll give it a spin.

I grabbed a 12 pack yesterday and I'm pumped. Though I was surprised to find no dating on the package. Kind of annoying since you have no idea what the date is till you buy it. Once I opened it I found only a best-by date on the bottom of the cans. I definitely expected to see a canning date since the bottles clearly have both bottling and best-by dates. Maybe they will improve this soon.

Also weird is that the cans are already almost 4 weeks old when I thought they were just released.
