Will we ever see more blended beers in the future along the lines of Art 18 & Farmers Duel? Those were two of my favorites. Opened one of our remaining 2 Farmers Duel bottles over the weekend and thought it was still tasting great.

For sure! We have built a pretty large library over the last 6-12months of oak to really blend the best of the best barrels to make the final product world class. For example we are filling 20 plus oak barrels for the Barrel Society beers and might only use the best 10 for the final blend. This is also happening with public releases too. We have done this with the recent Barrel'd Trophy and Barrel'd Sun collabs and have one coming out soon called Timbo Slice. Plenty more funky beers like Art 18 and Farmers Duel are in the pipeline!

anybody try the 5/2 Morph? Rye IPA? saw it on the shelf at Crosby's Marketplace in Georgetown last week. Very excellent beer store btw.

I'll be in Boston next week, hoping to score some fresh NS but won't be able to make it to the brewery (staying near Jamaica Plain w/o a car). How hard is it to find cans, and is there a particular day of the week that the distributor ships?

Also, any good beer stores in or near JP that would carry it?

Streetcar is the best shop in JP and they will have Night Shift. If you call or email they will usually put stuff aside for you. Also check City Feed(Center Street location). Vee Vee usually has a couple Trilliums on tap and Canary Square has been getting some too.

We have considered that. Boston Coach is located right behind our building and could do it for us. At one point we were going to share the cost with Metro Rock and have a combined rock climbing and beer drinking shuttle. But those plans fell apart.

    A shuttle would be amazing!

EDIT: And congratulations on your big news! Very happy to hear more beer is on the way!

Oh, man that would be so awesome. Even if it were only every 30 or 45 minutes. My wife and I are both beer lovers, and as a personal practice I don't drive anywhere if I'm going to be having beers, even if it's just a 4-ounce pour, which has the unfortunate effect of cutting down on the number of times we get to Night Shift to when someone is DDing or we decided to spring for an uber. If there were a shuttle to/from the Orange Line, I'd go 2-3 times per month, probably more.

The walk from the Orange line isn't very long. Plus I'd guess a shuttle doesn't make sense when there is already a line waiting to get into a full taproom. I'm looking forward to going back once the expansion is complete and hopefully the line no longer exists.

True, but that doesn't make the thought of a shuttle any less awesome

Are there that many people itching to wait around for a shuttle that will cut an 11 minute walk down to a 5 minute ride (disregarding the MBTA buses that will also shorten the walk)? Other than people with limited mobility or when there are issues with the weather, it seems like a pretty small difference.

That rotary on Rt 16 is one of the more terrifying pedestrian street crossings in Boston.

A line to get in to the taproom? Has the world gone to shit in the last week or two since I've been there last, or were you there on some sort of release day?

    Probably just a weekend day.

This, a million times over. It's not the distance, it's the rotary.

Rename them whatever you want, but please bring back Art 18 and Art 23.

On regular/non-release Friday nights and Saturdays we do get lines to get in once we reach max capacity(which includes people on the patio). They move quickly and usually can get inside within 20 mins max wait. Once we get this taproom project finished this will hopefully be a thing of the past. Cheers.
