@mattolesh 's outgoing cask sounds soooo gooood

"On Friday, we have a special cask prepared for you by one of our longtime Bruers, Matt O. He’s moving on, but before he goes, he’s concocted a tasteful parting shot to make a lasting impression: Beer Geek Catnip. This beer begins with the base beer featured in Share This: Coffee (an imperial stout) and then piles it on from there with coconut, coffee, cinnamon and vanilla. Thanks a latte, Matt!"

Thanks dude. I'm planning to start drinking first thing in the morning when I get here, so I can finish it all by myself before we open! Wish me luck :astonished:

Anyone cracked one of the Archiversary Smoking Woods (Bourbon 12, Bourbon 14, Rye 14)? Interested to hear how they're drinking. Drink now, drink later, etc.

I opened a Sucre Rye this week and it was sublime - possibly best experience I've had with one of their anniversary beers past or present. I never had Bois Fume fresh, but really enjoyed the bottle I had last week.

I had a 2012 or 2013 (couldn't find a date on the label or laser etched anywhere) Smoking Wood Rye and it tasted off as in a tinge of sourness. Not sure if this was common to whichever vintage it was or if it was just past it's prime. YMMV

I had 2012 smoking wood bourbon and it was phenomenal. Complex, not too smoky but the smoke still came through, barrel came through in a great way. Time to buy more!

I've been opening vintages of Smoking Wood for what seems like forever, and I've never gotten any off flavors or anything other than the smoky booze bomb I've come to love. I wouldn't hesitate to max every available option for any year/barrel.

Did anyone else receive a shipping notification USPS from a Christopher Rue?! I imagine it must be either the leasure bag or JG t-shirt

In the email yesterday reminding us that the allocations end tonight it looks like June might be expensive.

Excited that Chronology 24 might finally be here so now I can have a few people over and do the 6, 12, 18 and 24. I really liked the Wee Heavy 6 hoping that the 12 isn't too much bourbon.

Just got to the tasting room, Matt's cask is crazy delicious. Jumps back and forth from coffee to cinnamon to coconut and back to coffee. Super tasty.

Is this for hoarders only? I do not see this on the "what's on tap" page.

I'm thinking it's the JG shirt, since I didn't order any extra growlers/leisure bags. Also, they used my shipping address, not the address that I put in when I bought it. Looks like I won't be able to enjoy the shirt until August when I get home. haha

Also, who wants to get me a fill of that Coton?
