    Midnight Sun brewing Arctic Devil Barley Wine and Upland Brewing Kiwi Lambic

    Sorry, not the traditional beer pic....

    These are two dead soldiers from a beer tasting/share last night. Among these notables, also present were Toppling Goliath Golden Nugget, Pseudo Sue, and Rover Truck, New Holland Dragon's Milk Reserve with Coffee and Chocolate, and Prairie Artisan Ales Pirate Bomb!

    The Arctic Devil was by far the hit of the night. This Beer is Friggin AMAZING!!!

    Good morning BAs! Starting off to be another beautiful sunny day here in the web of the Michigan mitten. Got a beer fest to attend tonight as a drunk, the only one I go to any more, and tomorrow night I'll be working a booth as an unpaid worker. As I get older, the drinking part is a lot less fun and working a booth a lot more. Guess I just prefer to drink quietly in front of my computer and socialize with yinz guys. Today's breakfast beer:

    An unexpected three day weekend! I worked an extra day a few weeks ago and my office manager said to take today off. So I am. My wife has a job interview this morning, and is likely to be offered the position. I'm planning a celebratory lunch and then doing some gardening. It's shaping up to be a beautiful spring day.

    I poured aggressively on purpose to get a massive head. Mort subite lambic contains Barley malt, wheat and (lot) of sugar.
