I warned you all yesterday....after hearing all the stories in line I thought 7:45 would get you no beer today...gotta be honest I never thought 7:00 arrival would get one shut out...got there at 5:30 and I was at the corner by The Museum where the line started heading back North...kudos to the guy in the 3 Sons Shirt who color coded his 4 Mules with orange shirts and generously bought them breakfast and beer:rolling_eyes:

I'm sure many of you are good peeps but reading shit like this makes me not even want to trade for these beers. I wouldn't want to deal with or trade beer with a lot of the scum bags described in this thread. The ridiculous FT's don't help either.

Can anyone explain why basically none of the Iso:ft threads have any replies? Had been off the boards for a while so not sure if I had missed something or if they're just all getting crickets

I don't know what's more gross, the way these releases get hyped or the subsequent hoarding/black market PayPal assrape.

Replies were turned off a while back. Now you can post a crazy ISO/FT and then wait 10 minutes / mark it closed - even if it doesnt really close.

Aren't you special, the pride of Florida. It's all good, I believe in karma, what comes around goes around. Thankfully I don't live in Florida nor chase beers anymore so I don't have to deal with trash like you. Win on Blum, win on!

First 4 days out there this week were great...today all the ugliness of the 2016 Craft Beer World descended on Cycle

Are we still allowed to say that someone is "2012-ing"?

It's a tough space for people who just want to try different beer, but as much as I'd like to blame the people selling and raffling it off, the people paying ridiculous prices for it are really the issue as well.

Don't hate the brewery or the beer though, because they make a great product and do what they can to limit this issue. I don't blame the FT/ISO posts either, it's fine for people to go fishing for other big beers, because they are all hyped. I haven't had MBP or GNVP, but whose to say that those are automatically better than the cycle output etc. The general FL beer population is good to each other. And the beers are legit.

Was speaking with Doug during the week. He is toying with the idea of doing wristbands the next time he does a low bottle count <500 release. They would be issued during the week at the bar. The bartender would put the band on you and cut the end. This way if you bring a mule during the week you better bring that same mule on release day.

Would not cut down on mules, but would cut down on the random homeless mule or the hey you eating breakfast mule......

I think its a great idea.

bahahahaha, color coded his mules? like a family with the same color shirt at an amusement park? Hilarious, just in case your mule gets out of line, literally, and you have to wrangle them back in.

There were definitely mules and bums and grandmules out there today. But in general most of the people I was around all got up early and were there for the right reasons. So while some people may have worked around the rules, I wouldn't call it a shit show or classify it as terribly ugly. Everyone has a choice as to what time they show up and take their chances on getting limited beers. I am not defending the muling or people getting multiple bottles or posting FT's that include multiple Scoop bottles before they actually went on sale. Just saying that for the most part I saw good beer people in line today, for the most part.
