fyi, I just found some 5/9 Booming Rollers at my local WF (not in OC/LA area, but I'm assuming it'll be showing up down there too).

 

Yeah I mentioned this up above a bit. That $50 made me decide to not even bother going. Had it not been some limited $50 ticket and I could have just bought the tasters I wanted, I would have likely spent much more than $50 between beer and food. Oh well.

 

I think they might still be pouring at BL.

 

Mr K's has some yesterday. May be gone now though.

EDIT: Sorry, it does look like they sold out.

 

Went to Provisions last night and wasn't disappointed. $35 for a flight was pricey but the bottles are what $30 + fees for a 22oz bottle and this was $35 for roughly 18oz. Not too terrible plus being able to try the vanilla variant was worth it. So freaking good!

I just called the place, and they told me that the $50 ticket is not required. Individual beers can be purchased without the ticket. They should've mentioned that in their original post.

 

but they didn't, so f- them. They really know how to shoot themselves in the foot on these special events.

 

What's it take to land this event?

 

Apparently it was a reward for selling the most Modern Times beers during some specific time frame. I stopped by around 10pm and the place was pretty much empty. All beers were still on. Weird.

 

Probably a bunch of jaded customers that went to Prov for the Bottle Logic event, and decided not again....

 

Anybody see Booming Rollers canned this month around OC? Preferably WF.

BevMo Costa Mesa had some late last week.

 

total wine in brea has them in the walkin
apparently they canned them so quick they didnt even stamp a date on the bottom. tw wine delivery records confirm its the new batch.

 

The new BR batch looks like it might be from 5/09/16, the cans got stamped on the bottom edge real hard to read. There is a coupon floating around for $1.50 off 4/6 packs at TW.
