Okay this is just a teaser from one of my earlier posts this is the CIF from the Newbies reaching to the 16th person in the rotation. If there are any ideas for a rotating box for the NBS BIF faithful I'd be open to suggestions and be willing to get it started.

The boxes just keep coming. This arrived from @garymuchow today for no other reason than that he's the man. Finally got to tick that South Dakota beer! And Schell's man.

Can on the left is from Bauhaus Labs, which I visited when in Minneapolis a year or two ago (they're all blending together at this point).

Thanks Gary. Reinforce your porch, sir.

    And to ad
Well, thanks to @larryi86 I am sipping on a most interesting and complex ESB. He sent me the 2SP, yes. But he blessed me with some of his own handiwork. An ESB brewed with tea leaves.

As far as an ESB goes, color is spot on. Dark, golden amber. Head is large at 2 fingers, but he warned me about that. I think this is actually a plus. The active foam is really displaying the tea in the aroma. Such a pleasant twist for an ESB. I never would of thought of introducing tea leaves into an ESB. Crazy...and tasty. Now I'm curious about the hops. The tea leaves are definitely in the flavor but some gentle hop bitterness seems to meld with the tea. But I keep coming back to the aroma. I really like the tea nose, and I'm not much of a tea drinker. Thanks so much Larry.

PS: I advise anybody trading with Larry to ask for one of these as part of the box.

Not a bit of Melvin has hit my neck of the woods as far as I know. That distributor can feel free to hit us up.

Yeah, Melvin is shelf beer here now. 2x4, Hubert, and IPA are always around. Sound Beverage, the local Inbev house, carries them, so, @woemad , perhaps call your Inbev distro and ask 'em. They started distro of cans a few months ago, and they're building a larger brewery, so I suspect more folks will be seeing them in the future.

You are very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I used mainly Fuggles during the boil with a little bit of citra towards the end of the boil and did a single citra dry addition. It a beer I look forward to rebrewing soon!

Citra...That's why I got a hint of floral, slightly lemon in your tea note that I couldn't nail down last night. Well Done, Sir!

Okay it looks like were slowing down a bit here so I'm going to try to inject a little new fun here. I'm going to start a LIF for this thread and it's participants and any lurkers out there. I'm going to lay down some ground rules. First the box should be between 144oz's and 192oz's. The box needs to be made up of beers from the senders state only. I will allow the sender to add 1 can or bottle from outside there state. You can make up what ever you want for a contest to choose the winner of the box. Since I'm starting this off I get to choose the first contest. I'm going to make it easy on everyone. I'm traveling to see my daughter near Pittsburg PA over the Memorial Day weekend what I'm looking for is the number of new beers I tick from Friday the 27th thru Tuesday the 31st per my untappd account. If you want to friend me on untappd I'm smanson56 there also. I will give warning I'm going to meet a few BA's on the way out and a few more while in Pittsburg. The only thing I ask is that the winner is responsible for doing the next round. If anyone is interested in participating just quote this post and guess the number of new beers. Entries will close at noon on the 27th.

Untappd friend request sent. Well, it's a 5 day period, and it's not too hard to tick 10 beers a day, but, you've only got 340 total/189 unique check-ins, so, I'm going with 36 as my guess.

This sounds fun but I have a pretty significant stretch of travel coming up and won't be around much so I can't partake.

@smanson56 also, FYI, there's at least one more box going out this week. Possibly more. This BIF will not die, on my honor. Hehe.

Anyone who was part of this BIF and lives in a state that doesn't get Sixpoint distribution, set me your info. I am looking to send out a couple of boxes of Sixpoint cans.

Luckily we started getting them late last year, because I'm too afraid to receive a package from you! Haven't seen puff yet though.

@woemad & @kemoarps both live in a state that doesn't get Sixpoint. I've tried a couple, wasn't overly impressed. Not bad, by any means, just didn't push my personal buttons. The ugly cans didn't help my opinion either.
