Lol... They were all work shirts... Dude owns a construction company and they had a job in downtown st Pete at 10am.... The bright orange did help me find them in line when I needed to bring them their cold coffee tho..

I hope what goes around comes around and my friends take the turn next time making the 7 hour round trip drive and then give me the bottles at cost.... It would be a nice gesture for sure..

Pretty sure no one gives a shit why you're using mules. Doing it for friends doesn't suddenly change it into perfectly acceptable behavior.

Agreed. I'm also the first person ever in the history of beer to have someone stand in line for a bottle they weren't going to keep... I hope this doesn't start a trend.

So it's not ok? I guess I need to brush up on my official rule book of beer. Maybe I can borrow your copy?

All week long was ran great by Doug, big props to him and the Cycle crew. What other owner walks the line at 7:45am, does a head count, and then sets limits so that everyone in line at that time gets beer? None, at least here in Florida, that do that. Others breweries should take notice on the way to run a release.
Today, people have known since Monday, it was one per person. If you didn't think some people would bring mules, welcome to the game of beer releases. It happens at EVERY big release in every state. And after releases, the people of that state gush over it while every other state shits on it.. Welcome to Merica!
People post crazy trades all the time..good lord, look at what people ask daily for a national released Vanilla Rye! Those are the ones I laugh about.

    Yeah, and they're shitlords too.

And saying it's for your friends isn't a good excuse. You paying random ass hobos to wait in line for you took away the chance for many others to enjoy the beer as was intended, at 1 PP. People like you are making the beer scene so much worse.

Does that mean I'll see you this morning for the release?? Miami mules cost half as much as St Pete mules.. So I don't even need to get out of bed until like noon today. :stuck_out_tongue::stuck_out_tongue:

And on a side note... All of my mules in St. Pete had jobs and homes.... Non of them were "random hobos"

And in all seriosness.... The people "making the beer scene worse" are the people complaining that there is an issue to begin with... Either adapt to the times, or find a new hobby.

Geez you really are an arrogant prick, aren't you? By adapting to the times do you mean hoarding as much beer as you can to sell at a ridiculous price on the secondary market?

It's actually sad that you refuse to admit what you're doing isn't taking away from people being able to enjoy these beers and releases as they were meant to be. Yourself and others have taken what is supposed to be a good time where limits are in place for a reason and turned into a self serving monetary enterprise. It's funny you refer to it as a hobby. It was a hobby for most people until chumps like you showed up and turned it into a part time job.

Lol, I still can't believe your last paragraph. You try to justify your shady behavior by blaming others. It's scary that people like you, with that fucked up of a mindset, exist in this world.

I have my own opinions about the situations that went down yesterday but I don't really think more fuel needs to be added to the fire. I will say this though, I hope that all these extra bottles are really going to people that couldn't make the release bc people did get shut out toward the end of the line. I don't have Facebook but a friend did show me some Facebook posts of people flaunting their "scores." To me that doesn't scream altruistic intentions.

My opinion doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things and I'm not even going to comment on it further but days like yesterday are making me question why I continue to be involved in this hobby. I remember when this shit used to be fun.

People are going to flaunt their scores to rustle jimmies on Facebook and Instagram no matter what their final intentions are. A lot of the "big haul" pics at any release are a bunch of guys combining theirs into one photo to generate maximum angst.

Hoping to get this thread back on track, asked this a few days ago, hoping to get an answer since more have had them.

Which Rare DOS (red, white or blue) from this week did you like best?

Also does anyone have a review of scooop yet? Does it at least live up to some of the hype?
