hah i knew someone would bring that up. difference is dont jump from shop to shop picking up multiple 4 packs. and as @BiaSongThan just said im only teasing. i dont care that hes sharing about carmine street, they post it all over the place. its more just frustrating that i have to wait in line at my local shop because some guy from jersey needs 12 beers for his cousin and bottle share.

and i dont think me posting on beeradvocate had anything to do with it selling out for the first time ever.

i dont feel entitled to anything i just dont understand why your so upset about a couple comments made in jest. yes i would like to be able to pick up 2 cans from carmine next week without having to spend my whole lunch break on a line. am i actually upset that you posted shared "my secret spot" on the internet. no. but that doesnt change the fact that your are vocal about hitting up stores as soon as they post. its certainly not helping the craze.

They were never mentioned during can releases in these threads and don't use Beermenus for Grimm. Cans always lasted 3-4 days and suddenly they're name dropped in this thread and sell out of a non-hyped IPA within hours? I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I won't harp on you for helping others out in this thread. The problem is there are a shitload of lurkers who contribute nothing. It enables their laziness when they don't have to do the research themselves. If you've been following Grimm releases long enough, you should have a pretty good idea of when your shops will get their shipment.

Your secret spot tweets and posts on instagram. It's not that secret. When they stock, I'm there at 11:50 and have beer in hand at 12:00:30.

I'm going to continue posting about when I see it because I'm willing to help out the community. The alternative is calling and bothering stores, and/or showing up and leaving empty handed, which sucks just as much and has happened to me plenty. I don't feel like i'm any more deserving of the beer than anyone else in here.

But is it really any lazier than simply clicking "subscribe, emails on" on beermenus? I've found more that way than following this thread.

Well, i'd like to publicize them even more. The guys that run that shop are awesome and deserve the traffic that goes their way.

And as you've seen with a lot of people itt, they don't use social media. That's on them. You can stand behind Twitter all you want, but they weren't selling out before...

Anyway, let's not bother with the back and forth. It really doesn't matter anyway. We shouldn't clog up this thread anymore

Hopefully this is all a moot point soon and we can all live on brewery growler fills. <3

Just picked up 2 (which is the max per person) at City Hops about 20 minutes ago.

ETA: They just tweeted a minute ago saying they're sold out, but will have it on draft.

Can we blend Grimm Releases and OH releases in such a way that Jerseywhalezcirclejerk is running around town in a kind of beer olympics relay that involves chugging whalez in line and then sprinting to the next store?

3 beer nerds going back and forth about proper Grimm procurement etiquette is truly great.

I've been to plenty of OH releases, although none in the last 2 months, and when I go I try to go when there is no longer a line, but who are these Jerseywhalez people that always get talked about??
