2016 NHL Playoffs

This will sound bad, but I don't know which one! It's been in the fridge the whole time I've had it, and I was just excited to see Singlecut in general, so I didn't take much time investigating further! I'll update when I down it this weekend though.

 

Quick update on the LIF - scoring through game 5 in each series (spreadsheet didn't copy perfectly....looks odd...)

If anyone feels that their player has more (or less.....you never know) points than what is indicated above, you can file an official protest with the league officials in Toronto, or just BM me the disputed total.

As for a little commentary, I see the need for a big catching up in scoring out of Tarasenko if the Blues are going to have any hope of advancing. As for my Pens, goodness knows that a player not listed (Malkin) needs to back up his words and play as if in an out of body experience fro the next few games. I also would love to see a massive jump in points in this here contest for the folks who selected from the "HBK" line. I want to see Bonino sitting at 6 points and Kessel at 9 points tomorrow morning with their skates sharpened for game 7!

 

Half stack rings a bell. I'm going to avoid even looking at it until I drink it, just to let the mystery build!

 

Tough out. I know that game 7 losses (as opposed to not a game 7 series, like this one) carry their own torment but I'd feel pretty unresolved after what I could only describe as a lackluster showing. Didn't help that The Pickle pretty much owned Tarasenko.

First off, I hope everyone with rooting interest survived that game 7 last night, as I had a cardiac specialist queued up on speed dial. Needless to say, I am super stoked to see my Pens in the finals, even if it did cost me 2 boxes of beer. Which brings me to....

Congrats to @nhindian (Pens) and @tripelhops (Sharks) for their trip to the finals. Just as a reminder (in case anyone lost track, interest or otherwise...) the winner will get annihilated by 7 boxes, while the runner up will get hit with a modest yet troublesome enough 3 box salvo.

And a golf clap goes out to myself (Lightning) and @clake (Blues) for the conference finals visit, which nets a single box. Sniper shot, if you will. I know that for @clake , the box doesn't drown the painful burn of your team falling short, but here's to hoping it helps a little!

Given my rooting interests, boring means less stress..... That third goal last night allowed me to lower my heart rate enough to prepare for sleep!


As for the LIF - I hope to compile final standings on Friday (HOPE to...HOPE to......HOPE TO!!) and give myself about a week to review target's wants and hit the store / brewery or whatever in order to fulfill the shipment. If there is a tie, we'll deal with that the following week as well but shouldn't delay things too much. I'd assume that there's universally appreciated VA beers that I can still be picking up.

 

This game is going to kill me, I just know it. I'll leave shipping instructions for my wife though......
