In other news, has anyone tried their new hazy Vermont-style IPA? I honestly haven't had any hazy IPAs so I don't know if its a style worth emulating, although a few people on here seem to have a great disdain for West Coast breweries that are embracing them.

 

Can't wait to try that beer. I'm heading there tomorrow early. Wonder if they made enough to take some home.

 

They are filling growlers of their hazy IPA.

 

I had it a few weeks back at Select Beer store, I don't know what Vermont style is but it wasn't hazy at all.

 

To be fair, he pretty much has great disdain for everything that is not the status quo and widely distributed.

you know I might be mistaken but I think it was called something else but had the vermont style description, it did not look like Hazelshift that I saw posted on IG. So it was most likely another beer they gave that description to.

 

There's has been 3 different Vermont styles IPAs released:

Single zero
Triple zero
Haze shift, which is indeed hazy.

 

Having had the zero's & now Hazeshift, I feel this latest one is their best interpretation of the style yet. It's not a soupy yeast bomb like Trillium, but very tasty and fruit filled. Compares well I think to the unfiltered enjoy by.

 

Fundamental Forces had been aging in WL Weller barrels for just over five months when it was poured last Sunday. We figure it has 6-8 more months to go but, as usual, we'll let the beer tell us when it's ready.

HazeShift was released yesterday for the first time. It's likely you had Single Zero, the entry level/yeast prep version of our first attempt at an 'East Coast Style TIPA' Triple Zero. HazeShift will follow a similar pattern in that the yeast used there will go on to be used in a DIPA or TIPA version of the style.

 

It looks like he's been banned from BA, anybody got the gossip on this? I knew he was on thin ice.

Well, he was turned down entrance at the party. Not so much banned I guess.

 

Is there a mug shot wall at each of those breweries that I don't know about? Hope no one I know (especially me!) is on there.
