This was one of my first pieces of vinyl with real music. I'm not that ancient, an uncle gave it to me when I was a kid. The piece of vinyl was so damaged, it would harm the needle of his new turntable

Meanwhile playing music and sharing a La Trappe Blond.

Haha, naw - I think you're fine in this case. Yoshimi was somewhat groundbreaking at the time, difficult to make many direct comparisons.
The Flaming Lips have evolved in a consistent, linear trajectory since their inception. For the most part, each of their albums has laid the groundwork for the 'next step' that they take with the subsequent release.
Short answer - they're hard to peg :-)

Since you brought up In 3-D, I had to spin it with while finishing my Ourison. Can't wait to see Weird Al at the end of August!

    Hats off to you, sir!
Hopefully between the two of us, we can make Weird Al a Crate Day mainstay :-)

Damn glad my favorite beer store still had some of this today. Perfect pairing for a semi-supergroup of British guitarists from the mid 80's.

Had this at the brewery a few weeks ago and was impressed. What do you think of it?

For a Triple IPA I thought it was actually balanced, strangely enough. Funny the beer has 25 ratings, and no reviews (sorry I only had a sample, so no rating or review).

agreed, the covers were always eye catchers
I also thought Bryan Ferry was the most debonair, suave, urbane singer of the time - he could have played Bond
    cheers to ya

Where you at, @MUTINY? This one's for you. I hope it's good, as it showcases some Mosaic hops.
