Sad state of affairs in the modern beer game, people have taken this to a very unhealthy level.

I'm fine with that too. In the beginning I wasn't but I guess you need to get used to the pain of losing some and winning some.

I'd still like higher bottle counts or a switch to cans altogether unless it's a BA beer. ANTEAD still stings, not sure I'm going to get over that fully. I hope they figure that out, although I'm certain they'll never make everyone happy.

Bottom line, and I realized it at the last few big releases, even with the expansion they've completely outgrown that space. I hope they do similar to Tired Hands or at least secure some production space.

It is pretty sad, although I suspect this probably was because people were here for the holiday and figured, why not?

True. It's more a blend of arrogance, entitlement, and plaintive whining when you claim responsibility for keeping the lights on at Kane but now spend most of your time bemoaning their increasing popularity which currently denies you your basic human right of purchasing as much as you want of every single bottle release.

I'm really, really hoping they have cans for you this week. As the first drinker through the door, you deserve it.

People who are there from day one and consistently supporting the business on a regular basis certainly have the right to feel the way they do when there are many people who swoop in when brewery gets hyped, grab the latest whale of the week and will drop Kane like a hot potato when they move onto the next hot brewery.

So which one did you end up going with and how did you like it?

I supported them from their opening also, but what were you expecting? After my first taste of Head High and Overhead it seemed apparent to me that they would soon have a huge following. It is what it is.

I agree with you but others on here will immediately play the "entitlement" insult card. Some people refuse to admit there's any truth to the scenario of being a regular customer who is at a place constantly, enjoying the regular stuff only to not be able to get the special releases because the trading/muling/special release crowd swoops in to grab as many bottles as they can. I don't get worked up personally about this but I totally get why people do. I does irritate me that loyal locals can't express frustration with this without being attacked immediately and dismissed as entitled whiners.

I really don't get what people are expecting. Kane are actively listening to customer feedback and yet continually get shit on. It ruins these threads.

I think Kane is doing an excellent job of listening to customer feedback and adjusting their releases accordingly. I think they're actually getting a lot LESS shit because of that. The silent releases are better for all and result in far less headaches for the brewery.

So how long did it take for the Head High cans to sell out?

They were still available on Sunday so there is a chance they didn't sell out.

I believe I read a page or two back that they had a second canning planned for Friday.
Don't want to jinx it, but this may be the beginning of a world where Head High cans are readily available.

Interesting. My parents live 20 minutes from Kane and would be willing to pick me up some cans but I wouldn't want them to wait on any lines or anything.

I dont think there were any significant lines.
Check their Facebook page to confirm it is available and Tell them to go Thursday night.

There seems to be a big disconnect on your end about the issues some, including myself, have had with Kane recently. That, or you're just out to pick a fight. Either way, maybe you can try and attempt to understand the argument because ranting on about how you view me is a little, stupid.

Why would you want that? As soon as Head High cans become readily available, they won't taste as good.

I see myself drinking a lot of these this summer. I'm really pleased with that price point too.

Anyone know anything about Kane's branding? Is it handled in house? Everything from their logo/shield to their truck wrap, to the growler labels, to these cans are really thoughtfully and beautifully designed. You can clearly tell that it all ties together too.
