Awesome to meet up with @KyleDavis for that handshake and some local beers. He's been my BIF sponsor and advisor so this was extra special. Turns out you can't meet Kyle without getting beers thrown at you: While back I accidentally let it slip I haven't had Side Project yet, so he actually brings one. Also pictured are Lizard King, MadTree BA Axis Mundi, Rhinegast BA Mushhushshu and Kyle's own RIS Odin, all up my alley. And the guy is traveling out of state, seeing people, attending events, yet still shares 5 beers! In the background is the CIF box, being assembled for tomorrow's shipping. Up above between us is the pH-1 barrel, the namesake of Rare Barrel brewery with a very cool background story as told in the Beer Advocate mag 1-2 months ago. Also, was going to do a LIF today, but will delay by a 1-2 days as @Greeny87 has a great one going on right now.

For a while I've been thinking about some messages on this thread a few weeks ago about beer hoarding, and I'm worried I've become a hoarder. But this haul Greeny, wow!! Now I feel I need more beer! I've been waiting before participating in any of the LIFs (and CIFs) because I'm new to the group and wanted to send some beer before entering anything, but I cannot resist. This picture of several hundred beers just looks too amazing. How many are there in this photo? So here's what I'll do. I'll start an LIF soon sending a box from Northern California. Only problem is that Bart, I see you just posted that you want to do one too. Can we do two Northern CA LIFs at once, starting after Greeny's? I'm sure we can work out a plan. I'm happy to wait a few days if you want to go first too. I mean, too many LIFs is not really a 'problem', right OK so for my guess: I'll guess 777 miles!
Had a great morning out at Jester King in the cool rain for the first hour and then playing board games on a folding table in line for the second hour. Opening one of my Gin Nocturns tonight to see how this beast tastes. Super excited.
Lol, for the record, this haul was for myself and about 6 buddies. I only kept about 4 cases of bottles, a case of cans and some growlers. The addiction isn't that bad, really.
