I should've been clearer, my apologies. I'm referring to the body of Guinness when I call it the "Bud Light" of stouts.

When first started drinking beer, I had the misconception that Guinness was a "heavy" beer. After having a ton of other stouts, I now realize that it's body is quite light compared to others.

Ozark Onyx Coffee Stout. Under 6% and super easy to drink with a ton of flavor... I'm not sure how they do it.

I finished a 32 oz. half growler of this yesterday morning over on WBAYDN #1318. As much as I like the Onyx, the regular Cream Stout is definitely my favorite non-BA stout. Of course, BDCS would take the BA honor.

Two stouts come to mind that I consider easy drinking stouts but I'm not sure if I crush them. Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout and Anderson Valley's Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout, both taste great and are easy to drink.

Grey Monday was crushable in the fact that I drank it in under 2 hours. Afterwards I think I ate some Mexican food and then slept for about 16 hours....

Its not "crushuable", but Expedition Stout was very smooth and incredibly drinkable compared to the ABV.

I thought The Commodore from Ballast Point was pretty crushable. Also, Sierra Nevada's Stout goes down pretty quick as well. It tends to sit in my area though so definitely check the date. I grabbed a sixer a few months ago that was almost a year old and it didn't age that well. Not terrible, but not as good as it should be.

    Agreed.
Also SN's porter and stout go down pretty easy.
Deep Ellum Brewing's Double Brown Stout can be drunk quickly as well, but I'm not sure if you're going to find it outside of Texas just yet.

Starting a thread with "crushable," then naming a bunch of 10% + abv stouts....

    ... What???

It's a super special limited release they did and only ten people got to have one, it was like the golden ticket in Willy Wonka except it was just two extra beers and no mindwarping factory tour where children were killed.

    Obsidian Stout all day!

Also, Sierra Nevada Narwhal, Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate stout, Bell's 30th was very smooth, and West O Coco stout.
