High quality, classy coasters?

    It's a resin that I pour over the malt/hops. It completely cures in about 24 hours.

    I just recently saw Smuttynose has nice tile coasters for sale on their site, i see these ^^ and that's a great idea that im going to have to do myself.

    Been getting a few more done, just need to add the cork on the bottom. I'm finding that shrink wrapped labels from cans are the easiest to work with. Thicker labels from cans/bottles (like Trillium, Other Half, etc.) are great as well. I've tried cutting cans up and have that process down. But my first attempts at gluing the can piece to tile failed. Need to try a stronger glue (will try gorilla glue) and flatten the aluminum better.

    My favorite coaster is a polished geode (see photo below), which I think is classy, but I am a geologist, so I am admittedly biased. There are felt pads on the bottom to keep it from scratching furniture. I hate thin, flimsy coasters that stick or move with the beer glass, which my geode coaster never does.
