Leinenkugel's Canoe Paddler...IMO one of better kolschs..but finding it as a separate 6 or 12 seems to have gone away..Summer Explorer Pack only.. :slight_frown:

Victory Summer Love is pretty crushable and works great with most food.

A great local brewery, Picaroons (Fredericton, NB) releases a Watermelon Beer every summer called Melonhead. To me it tastes like overripe watermelon (I can hardly stand the taste) but it seems to fly off the shelves...

I don't know how many of these are summer season releases, but these would be my picks for the summer:
    Bells Oberon
RoughTail Pale Ale (for a hoppy Pale Ale)
    AV Blood Orange Gose
    Elk Valley Schank!
    Jester King Le Petite Prince
    Evil Twin Sour Bikini
    Boulevard Ginger Lemon Radler
    Schlafly Kolsch

Since I recently, FINALLY broke my taste buds into sours, I imagine there will be a lot of Berliner Weisse and Gose in the near future. Briney Melon was absolutely crushable and Gose Gone Wild blew my mind. There will also be lots of pilsners consumed this summer. Lots and lots of pilsners.

Living in Florida, I spend most of my time in my pool or lounging by it with some awesome beachy/summertime music. I'm looking for a great summer time beer, other than corona, to enjoy by the pool!

If you get Bell's in Florida, Oberon is great hot weather beer. Assuming you just joined yesterday, and mentioned Corona I would say you're a beginner to beer? It's a really easy drinking and great tasting beer.

My parents are big beer snobs, so I'm not too too new to the beer world. However, they enjoy milk-stouts, which I cannot see as being a good pool beer. Ha. But corona has been my go-to for the pool, love the lightness and refreshing lime added in!

I prefer crisp refreshing lagers in the summer. I enjoy IPA and APAs but during hot summer days I turn to lagers. Summit just came out with a 30th anniversary Keller Pils that is pretty good. I'm still a huge fan of Kolsch, Sierra Nevada makes a good one. Also, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold isn't bad.

I didn't mean to insult you by that btw. We all have to start somewhere.

Oberon is my go to Summer beer on a hot day.
