Will the Vic Secret cans be distributed outside of the brewery? Loved that beer last time I had it.

Presidential DIPA: Truman cans should be 6/3 not 6/2, also Morph on 6/3 as well.

The next canned one hop is actually going to be Idaho 7. It will be brewery only - only a 20bbl batch. Probably 100-120 cases.

busy day yesterday at NSB. regardless -- got to try the Hermit bourbon barrel quad. Excellent beer!
Also cool to see some older beers back on tap for the weekend. Darkling will always be a favorite.
picked up a few bottles to age for a bit in the cellar.

The wife, kidlet, & I had a great time Sunday. Picked up a few bottles of Hermit for friends, my barrel society beers, a 4-pk of 6/3 morph & a 4-pk of trifecta. Ended up trading for a few cans of Truman while I was there which was a nice surprise

Loved the simple sour. Wish I could've filled my growler to have yesterday while doing yard work in the Sun, but it means I will have to get down there to have more before it is gone.

I stopped in to pick up some cans of Truman on Friday around 4 p.m. ... great beer @masterob8, keep up the great work there! Grabbed a couple 4-pk of the new 6/3 Morph too, and that was very good as well.

I did find it surprising, though, that there were no beers available for growler fills. I checked the site, and it still appears no beers are available for fills...? I'm happy Night Shift is one brewery where I can trade my growler back in for the $5 deposit, which I did, but are you guys moving away from growler fills and just doing more canning in the near future?

I really don't mind that for summer as I'm more apt to take cans to the pool and bring them to the beach, but just curious...

Right now our policy is to only offer beers for growler fills if it's not pre-packaged in a can/bottle or super limited/sour. We feel that the quality of our packaged beer far exceeds growler fills. And we want people to enjoy the beer in the best possible condition. From a service standpoint - filling growlers really slows down the bar flow.

We usually try and have a handful of growler beers but right now we are struggling to keep them on tap. New saison comes out Friday that will be for growler fills.

Any plans to can the simple sour? Would love to grab some sour sipping tallboys for when it gets hot again!

Not at this time. We do a lacto fermentation for that beer (not a sour kettle) so the beer still contains living bacteria. We don't feel comfortable canning it due to the possible contamination with our other canned offerings.

We have experimented with sour kettle beers that we could possible can. But we have never been happy with the results. The flavors, aromas, complexity and so forth are never as good as our lacto fermented sours in our opinions. So the only way we would can the beer is if we get a second canning line. Which isn't out of the realm of possibilities - just not in the near future. Bottles of Simple Sours are in discussion though.

Does know the distribution schedule for Night Shift? I'm out in the Worcester area and would love to know Julio's or Mass Liquors gets their drop.

Does Night Shift have TVs in the taproom? We're planning to be there Thursday evening and I'd really like to watch the USMNT match. If not we may have to expedite our stop and hit a bar nearby that will have it on.

They don't, but they occasionally set-up a screen and projector for significant sporting events. I didn't see anything in the weekly newsletter, so it may be worth calling to check.

+1 for hoping they play the USMNT match. Going to be in Boston for the first time this weekend and really looking forward to checking Night Shift out. How long do their cans usually last? I see they canned Whirlpool and 87 last week. Any shot of those cans making it to the weekend? I'm hoping they'll at least be on tap. Thanks for the insight.

I feel like I've seen regular season college baseball on there so I think "significant" might be the wrong word.

I would think USMNT has to be on but we should page @masterob8 to be sure.

We have one large projection screen TV that we display sports on. It most certainly will be playing the soccer match. We have a number of staff members who are pretty into soccer so I am sure they will have it tuned in. If for some reason it's not on - just as the staff and they can make it happen.

Yes, both of those beers should last till the weekend. We try and always have them available bur sometimes we do run out. This week we are also canning fresh batches of Santilli (today) and on Friday Morph. So those will certainly last thru the weekend. Enjoy your first visit!
